We are stuck with an inversion overhead and will be around for a bit. Low laying fog all day and night makes for a cold

Good morning, unlike the western guys we have no fog but cloudy with flurries and-8 C and hardly any breeze. Down here in southern NB we were at -15 last night while the northern part of the province had temps ranging from -30 to -35.
Stay safe and smile .

Good day all. Fog out west and dam cold in Northern NB. We had that cold for 2 weeks around the end of December and it ugly.
Spend all Monday and part of today putting in a friends 440 back in his Barracuda. It's sitting at 512 cubes and made 640hp. Tomorrow I'll be back helping him getting all parts bolted up.
Stay healthy.

Does he plan to drive 640hp on the streets?
That could be hard on tires.

Good morning again, did a long and intensive job yesterday...I set the gap on my new plugs for the 2022 season yesterday. Now where do I get a better than stock distributor cap and rotor?
Have a good day and stay safe and give your wife a hug...she probably deserves it.

Lots of pics of the car but it always it pieces .This is the only pic I have of the car is when the 2 of us drove out to a car show and parked together. This is when it was powered by the mostly stock 440 2 years ago. It was originally a 318 car.
Have a great day!!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Nice looking car.
Well we have quite the traffic mess today, with all of these truckers headed to Ottawa. I know that I've just about had it with the government running my life and telling me what I can do. So I guess that I support what they are doing.

The police should have closed the road to the truckers and turned them back. You are going to see a lot of pissed off people when this is said and done and you will see people get hurt.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Theres a couple of beauts right there. My ex father inlaw in Calgary had a 340 Demon that colour and he drove the absolute nuts off that thing. I was only 19 when I met him and I had a 69 SuperBee and I thought I was nuts, I was nothing compared to him my gosh! Just picked up a set of GTS door badges for a friend of mine to finish his clone he is going to be in heaven when he sees these. Just watching ZBJ and a blue 69 Charger just went across at 100,000 with a number motor.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good Friday all. Nice day so far was zero this morning and a high of 10.
JG, I think we are in for the same weather starting on Monday.
Today I'll be working on the Barracuda for a bit. Hopefully my goal is to get the dash working. I have one bulb that works correctly, left signal light. The rest of them do nothing, but could be burnt out bulbs too.
TGIF and stay safe!

Cookie, you are probably right, there are going to be a lot of pissed off people. But if they stop the truckers and turn them back, then they are taking another one of our rights away. And that's the right to a peaceful protest. And so far no one has broken any laws. As far as I've heard, the health experts are now starting to say that we need to learn to live with this virus, because it's not going anywhere soon. I think it's time that we get our freedom back and stop letting a handful government officials run our lives.

Dan, I have no issues with peaceful protesting but when it starts to affect other people then it should not be allowed. When we had all kinds of protests here in the past it affected a lot people in a very negative way. Many parents were stuck not being able to pick up there children from day care people were missing doctors appointments and a multitude of other hard inconveniences for people. The actions of a few always seems to be allowed to infringe upon everyone else's rights and those few never stop to think about how their actions affect everyone else. Can you imagine if you guys had a major snow storm over the next couple days, just think about the kaos that would ensue. How many people would die at home because the roads are clogged with trucks and ambulances can not get to people or to the hospitals or fire trucks not being able to get to the fires. Protesters always seem to have more rights and to hell with everyone else.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Cookie what you say makes a lot of sense, maybe the provincial and fed. government should take a good look at all of this! And act on it!!!
This morning started off snowy but hardly any wind but then after a while the wind picked up so the announced snow storm is under way. At least it is not terribly cold at only -7 and getting warmer as the day moves on.
Have a great day stay safe.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, at least for now, until they decide that that's not good for us. I personally think that the government should stop telling everyone how to live. All they want is complete control over society.
