Good day. Had the Duster out for a couple of hours today. Took along a friend that thinks his 72 Cutlass, with a 350 in it is fast. Poor guy had the shit scared out of him as soon as we got on the highway. He kept yelling for me to slow down lol. It sure was fun showing him what a little 340 can do.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Smokey day here only a high of 24.
Dan it's good show someone what a little 340 can actually do!
I finally have the exhaust finished up on the Cuda yesterday, I had to make a small cut on the drivers side and give it a little bend to get it to fit. We trial fitted it twice to avoid recutting it but I guess that how it goes. I still have a bit of work to do to fire it back up again.
Good day all!

Good morning, it rained again last night...not a surprise.
The west is dry and smokey and we are damp, wet and sometimes sunny.
NB is lifting all covid restrictions July 30th at midnight since over 80% of the population had their first vaccine and 52% had their second.
Have a nice day.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day, still nice and warm here high of 29.
Just got back from camping and going to help my grandson on his little neon the next few days. Rocker panels are going to get replaced, that car did lots of gravel roads and no mud flaps so the drivers side has some holes in it.
Nice to see you back canucky, Don't know skeeter!
Have a good day guys!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day guys. Another hot one heer. I think it might be a record for ther number of warm days in a row. High of 29 today and still no rain, I think the BC guys needing the rain bad as the forest fires are growing.
I did the driver side rocker panel in my grandson's Neon the last 2 days. He sure is learning, but I want to teach the kid as I don't think kids now a days are into cars much at all.
Stay safe and cool!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day, we have plenty of sun today, but below normal temps, should be 27 but is only 20.
Keith, most young folks aren't into cars so if your grandson is into learning, then take all the opportunities that are presented to you.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Got pretty smokey here around the homestead but started dissipating this evening and should be gone with-in 24hrs hopefully. Feel sorry and bad for everyone else in the interior who is getting burned and smoked out. Just crazy all these fires and then we have the assholes who still through their cigarette buts out of the cars while driving.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all. Hot again today around 29 for a high.
Dan I'm teaching the older grandson about cars and he is always will to help me out on mine. We replaced the rocker panels on his Neon where a rock crushed it up and then it rusted out. The passenger side has no rust but it didn't get damaged either.
Cookie we also have bad smoke here but hoping rain this weekend will wash some of it away,
Stay safe!!

My ex mother in law used to say that a poor excuse is better than none at all. Cause that's all that I'm hearing here.

Time to start wearing masks again before shit gets out of control. Scientists are saying they are expecting a variant way worse than the Delta variant.
Been steady hot around here.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good evening 30 again. Ya Dan thats about it a real lousy excuse but its all I got lol. Cookie we are going nuts here on the Island almost 90 over the weekend and today, like wtf get a shot for crying out backwards. 2 things I find very awkward wearing a mask in a bank and resisting the urge to jokingly say stick em up and going to the pub and ordering a fat tug from the waitress(its a beer for you eastern boys).
Have a great rest of you r day or night or morning

Re: Good Morning Thread
Wow I guess July 24 was my last visit but I just found out why. We were on PEI from the 25th to 30th. Cases were around 0 so we do not have to wear our masks anymore...for now.
Anyway went to a car show after we got back from the island and today it is raining.
Not having to wear a mask sure feels good especially when you wear glasses, now lets hope the new variant stays away.
Have a great day and stay safe.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, It's pretty warm here as well. We have been up around 29c the last few days and Sunny. They say it will remain this way for the foreseeable future. Maybe a chance of a thunderstorm Saturday.
Reg, the hell with work, just tell everyone that you're heading to Ontario for a few days. I'll show you how to paint. I mean, that I've never done it before. But if painters can do it, then I should be able too as well. lol
Numbers aren't too bad here, but we are still required to mask up when indoors at a public setting. The numbers shouldn't mean a whole lot, unless they are talking about hospitalizations. After all wasn't that the reason we all got vaccinated ?

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 15 and raining a bit! Looks like it came down pretty good overnight and I hope it continues all day and helps slow the fires down. I can`t imagine what rural house insurance is going to be on renewal for those that live in the country but it will be huge. I put a few stalks of corn in the ground back in the spring and we have some ready so tonights the taste test can`t wait. I have amazing tomatoes coming along and everytime one gets close the friken rats get at them so its war beginning today die ya buggers. Getting parts and tools together for the top secret project in stealth mode right now, the big day is the 22nd can`t wait. Hope she likes it or I will have a new car for me
Take care have a great day and stay safe
