My niece, her boyfriend and her 12yr old son got the evac order from just west of Kelowna in Finton. Fire was only a few hundred yards from the house and heading towards it. Don't know if the hoses are gone yet.

Cookie, that’s not good. I hope everyone is safe and their property survives as well. Everyone says that insurance will cover everything, but there’s some things money can’t replace. Let us know how they make our.

It has been a while again, went to a cruise yesterday evening and today got news from the Atlantic nationals that the show will be 3 days rather than 2 like previously announced. Now all we need is for the weather to co-operate. We are to get official news tomorrow of what the news is. I am hoping for the best....

Good morning 2o something will wind up hogh 20`s today and mid 30`s by Friday yikes. Cookie hope all worked out for your niece scary times all over. The fire here on the island is across the once river now creek from our regular campground hoping it stays away for all the campers. Looking good Lyle and like cookie says ice cream is a daily staple isn`t it lol

Still warm here around 26 today and 30 tomorrow.

Haven't done much work on the Barracuda lately as I've been helping my grandson on his little car. But he is very interested to work on it so I'm helping him as much as possible.
Hopefully over the winter we can build a 2.4 Turbo motor for him.

Here we are doing new rocker panels, Driver side was crushed in when they caught something and then water got in and we all what happens then!!

Good morning 14 and will get close to 30 today and getting warmer every day into the weekend. Looks like the furnace is on high once again for this week anyway. Its our annual except for covid cancelled Mopar show on the 12th of September, I expect that show to be jammed full.

Good day guys. A bit cooler today only 23 for a high.

Reg so far this year I've only ben to one car show, it's been slow and I've had none of my cars there. I finished welding in the Neon rocker panel and need to clean it up and get ready for some primer.

Dam covid cases here are going up again, we had almost 500 cases yesterday. 2 weeks ago we were down to a handful of cases per day. I hope this is going to get worse like the US.

Keith it will get worse as it catches up to the stupids - we have (soon-to-be-ex)-friends in Oshawa who have mothers who are retired nurses and they're raising all kinds of hell in the families because they've swallowed the "it's just a flu" line to support their anti-vax position - karma and Darwin will be proven again - they think herd immunity comes without a cost, I guess

Good afternoon, our numbers in Toronto are on the rise again we were just under 500 for the day yesterday. MY neighbors have gone away and they asked me to let their cat in and out of their house. I just went to put him in and we got a down pour, I opened the door and the cat started to get wet and he took off and hid under the car, leaving me standing there getting soaking wet.

Good morning 16 and smokey as hell. You could chew it a bit yesterday hope thats not the case again but it looks worse so will see. We hit 36 here at the house yesterday the old record was 29  today may be hotte.Got all my welding bits and pieces purchased and squirrelled  away so pretty much ready to get at the surprise but its a ways away yet. Just looking for a dolly or 2 for body work and I will be set until its time to spray.

good afternoon, it's a beautiful warm sunny day at 32.5 C. The abbreviated Atlantic Nationals are coming up the 20,21,22 of August...its better to have an abbreviated show than none at all like last year.
It was raining the last few days but managed to go to the beach Tuesday...all kinds of people there from Quebec and Ontario, even a few from NB.

Real smokey here the last two days and hot, hot, hot. The niece was able to back to the house and two days later they got the evac order again, so now they are out of house again. My co-worker was supposed to move into his house they just recently bought in Logan Lake this weekend and now the whole town (2000 people) got the evac order.
On another note, I just bought a 2008 mini cooper S clubman today so I can bomb around in that instead of putting mileage on my truck.

Good morning 16 smokey and going to get hot again. 2 big car shows today, 1 up in Courtney (3 hours away) over 400 cars and a big poker run here in Vic about 200 cars or so. As luck would have it we are hosting a bbq for the 4 guys and spouses who we went to school with same guys that have our boys weekend in June with every year. Gotta cherish these get togethers the 5 of us are still so very tight and some of us are starting to get old not me but the others guys lol. Count down is on a week tomorrow we find out if Di is getting a new car or if I am and maybe a divorce too lol. Cookie thats tough Logan Lake as you know is in serious trouble my thoughts and hopes are going out to them and your niece.

Good morning 14 should hit 29 again but may get a sprinkle or 2 tonight. Funny how climatized you get to things, last night with the gang over for a bbq it went down to 22 and I put the heaters on outside because people were cold lol.

Good morning 14 and cooler than it says. Theres spot showers around we haven’t had any here at our humble abode but don`t really carre about us it the interior on fire that needs it desperately. We will hit low 20`s today and it will be cooler for the rest of the month apparently. Nephew and his wife are coming for a few days today always enjoy seeing them and shes Polish and her uncle was a pretty well known sausage maker in the lower mainland so she always brings me sausages and stuff.

Good afternoon, been very busy looking for that perfect piece of property and house. I may have found what I’m looking for except that it doesn’t have a good garage on the property. I mean that it’s got your typical one car garage. So I have been checking with the township and environmental committee on any building restrictions. I’ve found out that I can build a 40x60 shop. So I may jump on this one. I have an appointment with the agent to write up an offer.

It's in the township of Fort Erie, just on the eastern outskirts. 15 Minutes to the border and about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. It's not as much property as I'd like, just a little over 3 acres. I have now been contacted by a city official and he says that I may have to apply for a small variance to put up a garage. But he assures me that it's not a big deal. Fingers crossed.
