Us down here in New Brunswick did not notice anything out of the ordinary...and furthermore they are probably getting ready for winter.

Contacted NGK spark plugs yesterday to find out which plugs to use for my modified 360 and the answer was BKR5E.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon, Rain for the next few says here and much cooler temps than what we have become accustomed too. I got a call from the Ford dealer where I retired from, asking me if I would return back to work. I almost said yes and then I gave myself a good smack and said no. Just as soon as this Covid crap is done, I'm gonna start enjoying being retired and do a lot of travelling.
Have a great day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 10 looks to be the start of a not bad 2 or 3 days ahead. Should have my new led shop light by the weekend so that will help brighten the days up. Now trying to decide where to cut the new patch panels at. The areas of concern are just the wheel well edges but theres so many curves and body lines in the area I feel like I need to get to some flat areas to make the repair less visible and far easier to fill and shape. I have found 2 previous floor repairs that were done no to badly so just seeing how much I want to start peeling back rust proofer thats 50 + years old. I am leaning to leaving them alone at least for now and concentrate on getting the bad stuff done.

Good day all. nice and warm here around 23 for a high.
Reg your body guy is doing a great job, the metal works looks fantastic.
I final have the exhaust on my car where I like it.. Had to make a small cut and bend it so it wouldn't rattle against the corner of the gas tank. I not sure how it moves after trial fitting it twice. Sitting in the corner of the garage makes it bend slightly I guess.
Stay healthy and have a great weekend.

He is not even a body guy by trade he is a co owner of a foundry but his dad was a body guy so he comes by it honestly. These are the pieces cut out of the trunk. Good morning 12 and the atmospheric river is making a comeback apparently. Stripped down the driver side area I knew had rust yesterday and low and behold I was pleasantly surprised. The floor pan has a bit more rust than I thought but I had planned on doing both rear pans anyway so no problem. See the 3 drill holes? i am guess ing dent was pulled out at some time in the past but thats right where the cut will be anyway so no problem.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all. Beautiful day here around 26 for a high. This is just a surprise before the shitty weather comes!!!
Cookie that not good that the grand daughter has Covid, my buddies 2 grand kids have Covid. One is mostly cold systems and the other older kid was taken to the hospital on Saturday.
Reg, the car looks pretty good with not to much rust!
Well I finally have the Dual exhaust finished and fitting really good. I'm not sure why it tweaks after you put it in the corner.
Stay healthy!!!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Very nice afternoon here today.
Grand daughter's dad tested positive today now as well and he is double vaccinated. The grand daughter is doing better thank goodness. Schools here in the fraser valley are getting hit hard again and the stupid high doc won't mandate masks for the younger kids. I guess we will have to wait until a whole bunch of kids die before that happens. "CARRY ON"

Jeez Cookie thats tough but glad the wee one is on the mend. Hope her dad is fine as well but ya the doc is so based on numbers how can she not mandate the masks for kids when the numbers are going up so quickly?? Don`t forget she was the one who was against masks until she wasn`t I`ll stop now before I get to far along in my opinion I just hope they will all be ok.

Good morning, Cookie, sorry to here about your family getting infected, hopefully all will be better soon. You guys on the west coast are having it hard again with the rising number of cases. Reg, how is the project coming ? Has your wife seen the car since the grinder hit it ?

Re: Good Morning Thread
Afternoon gents 16 and we have a wind rain event coming tonight. Cut the patch panel today and will cut the car tomorrow or Friday. I am not cutting the car until my advisor stops by and either laughs or gives me the what are you waiting for lol. Yes Dan she pops her head in the garage once or twice a day when I am out there and has a look but keep in mind she has absolutely no forward vision what so ever. I can show her all the pics I can find and she looks at her car and sees a piece of shit so ya I`d rather she go away for 6 months but I`ll deal with the total lack of support on her part lol.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good Evening 10 ish but what a nice day this turned out to be. Got the lawn cut and speaking of cutting there was surgery going on yesterday and today in the garage. I have to start on the floor first I think but got the quarter cut out and made a template for the inner wheel well. Cut the floor out behind the driver seat and will start making that tomorrow but need the bead roller to finish that up and its still at my buddies sons place so onto other things until he is ready. I have a small spot on the front driver’s side about 4 x 4 inches right where a drivers heel would rest that is gone so I will maybe do that first thing tomorrow and get a feel for the welder. Heres some pics

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 11 and it appears looking at my rain gauge(a rock) it rained overnight or early this morning. I thought it was supposed to be a nice weekend but whatever. Haven`t turned the furnace on yet but my bride has been using the fireplace so I guess its time to flash up the old clunker for another winter.
