Just looking ahead, because I've sort of been in the sell mind set for some time now. In case the next time the thought comes to me and I get serious about selling then I want to be ready.

That would be a good way to blow the cobb webs out of the Duster.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Very mild 19 today, but we got some light off and on showers as well.
Keith, +14 is still way better than -14, so take it while you can get it.
It'll all come to an end, much quicker than we'd like.

Good morning, more tasks for the outside, no sun, cloudy but no rain, should wrap most things up today. Already up to 7 this morning and going up to 10-12 region.
Have a great day all.

Good morning all rain, rain and more rain, oh well better than snow. Still going to reach a high of 17. Feeling rather poorly today, so I think it's just going to be an R&R day.

Beer, what a great idea. I go Mexico for beer all the time.
Well another so,so day here, high of 15 and sunny so don't want to complain knowing it could be worse, going to prepare to put the motor in the Cuda today, see what I need and want to try to bolt up the original 65 trans to my crate 360.

Sometimes the old and new bolt pattern don't match up, but then again sometimes they do.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Yea I tried to bolt up the trans and it wouldn't quit go up all the way so pulled it apart and just found out that the crank is not drilled for the manual trans. I have a 73 340 bell housing with matching clutch and pressure plate the 65 trans and a 360 crate.smoken340 wrote:Good luck with that, Keith.
So far JG all bolts line up but won't know for sure until I get the trans to bolt up properly. Might be lucky that way, we'll see.

So are you going to cut the output shaft or drill the crank ???Keith Mopar wrote:Yea I tried to bolt up the trans and it wouldn't quit go up all the way so pulled it apart and just found out that the crank is not drilled for the manual trans.smoken340 wrote:Good luck with that, Keith.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Cut for sure, just bolted it back up loosely and there is a 1/2 gap from trans to bell housing so I'm thinking I will cut off 5/8 to make sure I have clearance.
One thing I realized today is the 833 sure has gotten a lot heavier as it sat for the last 5 years.

Hey Keith I bet the trans did not gain any weight, your still just a young pup, well maybe not a young pup but not an old hound dog either. Could be something else though...

Good morning Canadians, just another crappy day with damp, rain and low temps. 6 to start and a high of 7, yeah that 7 is no mistake! Did most seasonal outdoor chores yesterday but today well...
Have a great day all.

It won't hurt the fields to dry up for another day and the forecast for the next week is great so I think I'll take the Challenger out for a run today. I haven't had it out in over a month.
