Yea, I agree...we woke up to a very tiny bit of snow on the yard and our cars....it was enough to make me sick....that and the fact it's freezing cold again...

Dam snow, we have a chance at some snow this weekend. Then on Monday +14, I think the weather is more confused than me... Today is + 17 not to bad.

Good Morning all. After a 15 hr day yesterday, I am not sure why i am up this darn early. Clowdy and cool here this morning, but no snow. Looks like we could get some rain which wont hurt my feelings as everything is dry as a fart here. Hope your feeling better Dan, have a great day everyone.

Thanks Sheldon, I'm feeling a little better today. Haven't gotten any results back from the Doctor. They say everything looks normal. My family Doctor, is blaming everything on my bad eating habits, just because I don't put eating high on my list of prioritys.

I eat when I get hungry. I just don't tend to get hungry very often. I went from 275 lbs. 5 years ago, to 163 lbs. now. I don't drink and I don't smoke, but hell I'm still not in great shape. I only have 8 to 10 coffees a day.

There's not a lot that I can physically do at the gym, that I can't do on my own. I had 3 surgery's on my both shoulders and can no longer lift anymore than 5 lbs... 3 to 4 times a day. If I damage either one of my arms again, I could possibly lose complete use of them. So I'm very careful on what I do now. I do walk 3 hours everyday, plus my part time job, has me walking all day. My Doctor is also waiting for me to hit 65 years old, so I will fit into the age category where they like you to be for knee surgery.

Not to worry bud, all is good here. I never take any advice to heart. I just take it the way that you meant it, trying to be helpful.

Good Morning all, it's TGIF day. Drizzle and wet, 5C at the moment I am back, actually got back late Wednesday night but then there was unpacking and running around for things such as groceries. Had a wonderful week which started with temps like 30C and sunny the first day and 35C, sunny but muggy the last day. Rain was never in the forecast.
I did some reading last night and saw that Dan fell and smacked his head...NOT A GOOD IDEA! I also saw that he feels a little better every day, which is a good thing. Good luck Dan and try not to work too hard until you are up for it.

Worst morning ever...A customer that I built a car for last year dropped it off this morning so I could go through and fix I few things I didn't get a chance to look at last year....I'm talking small things like the clock doesn't work, the speedo makes a weird noise etc....
He has it flat decked to my house....I take it for a little drive, less then two miles...Jump on it a bit, not hard at all.....it breaks loose in 3rd.....and then all hell breaks loose....motor gets noisy fast and dies....I coast back into my driveway, right into my garage....
Long story short...a roller rocker broke and knock the keepers off the valve....I'm assuming it dropped a valve and destroyed the aluminum head....

I can't afford to fix this motor......Not sure how it's going to play out...Contacted the engine builder, the motor has less then 200kms on it.....but like any high performance motor...don't expect warranty. He says he'll come take a look at it....

Regardless of who jumped on the gas, that was going to happen. You didnt do anything the owner wasnt going to do at somepoint. That was a ticking time bomb. You are not at fault there. Hope the engine builder is willing to work with you there. What brand of roller rockers are they?

The rockers say PQx on them ? PRW's maybe, I'm not certain, engine building is not my forte.....
The owner is very understanding we've been friends for 25+ years and his company paints all my cars, 16 to date...

He wants to take it to a different builder....
