Good Morning Thread
I thought we should start a Good Morning Thread. A place where we can pop in just to say good morning and maybe share our plans for the day , share recipes, talk weather or whatever.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Well I missed the good morning, but good afternoon. Here is my recipe for the day:
The early 360 (non roller) with, .030 over, with Keith Black Pistons (part #KB107), reconditioned stock rods, and stock cast crank balanced with Quality oil pump, stock pan. Comp .509 Cam, home ported match X or J heads (1.88I or 2.02I depending on torque curve wanted). 750 on a edelbrock air gap or equivalent, orange box electronic ignition, headers and decent exhaust system. I think you should have about 350 hp. Of course this is just my opinion.
What do you think, am I way off.
And Dan I like the idea

Been up for a couple of hours now. It's snowing again. Looking forward to another foot of this crap. Can't complain to much though. We really didn't have any winter until a week and a 1/2 ago.

Morning, sitting here with tissue stuffed in one side of my nose (bleeding) and thinking how nice it will be to go out and work in 12* sunny weather.
Man I'm sooooo glad we do not get much snow, happy sledding guys.

Well we certainly have a little snow here. Good news is 2 more months and it should be over for one more year.

Good morning all, Well it's a little cool here. Not much going on today, grocery shopping, do a little painting around the house and then some R&R.

I'm going to the prison to x-ray an inmate who decided it was a good idea to swallow a handful of screws and nails. Coming home to do house work, yuck! And then watch the Superbowl, GO HAWKS GO!
Re: Good Morning Thread
Well we got a little snow here last night. Our ground hog is calling for an early spring. Sure hope that happens, but I'm not putting a whole lot of faith in a rodent. I guess it's time to go shovel for a couple of hours.

Re: Good Morning Thread
It's morning now and I just woke up to close to 2 feet of new snow. That will make it about 5 1/2 to 6 feet of snow has fallen since last Tuesday. How's that for a "good morning".

Re: Good Morning Thread
6:17 AM here in Saskatoon, with -30. It's morning for most, but night for me as I work night shift at the Agrium Potash mine in Vanscoy, about 20 min south west of Saskatoon.
8 more nights of work, then home for a week.
Plans? I have a nice Valentines Day setup for Carmen, and when I have some free time I plan on swapping out the 3.23 SG in my Dart for a 3.91 SG, replacing more rust with solid metal in my '67 Barracuda, doing the brakes on my '69 Fargo, and possibly picking up a Rambler for Carmen.

Morning all, still a little cool here, although no snow today, it's moved off to the East. ( You're Welcome Jack )
70DartMike, sounds like your going to be busy when you do get free time. I worked the Graveyard shift for about 5-6 years, it really affected my health. Never got used to sleeping in the daytime so I was going on 1 to 2 hours sleep every night, eventually lost my appetite and stopped eating and lost a lot of weight. Took close to a year to get myself back to normal after I stopped working that shift.

At least the sun is out here! -35 with the wind chill.....had to wade waist deep snow to the barn...but now that everything is plowed/shovelled/fed and watered....time for a hot cup of coffee and admire a nice looking day from the inside!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Where is Wakefield, I've been to NB. a few times. The ex wife was born in Campbellton, (not sure that I spelled that right ). I also have a lot of friends that I worked with here in Ontario, that are from Fredricton. Beautiful country down there. Anyway us people have sent you guys down east a little gift again, in the way of SNOW. lol. We didn't want it so I hope you guys do.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Wakefield is about an hour north of Fredericton....outside of Hartland's longest covered bridge in the world. About 3 hours from Campbellton...which is beautiful.
