Good Morning Thread
Update
Over here the the hurricane which was downgraded to tropical storm looks more like a downgraded tropical storm but might get stronger when it hits the open sea. Even the rain is not what I would call heavy rain but rather medium rain being pushed mid to brisk winds. There are open areas not far away which got broken branches which have fallen on power lines and have lost power but nothing like that around. I bet the roads won't be great tonight though. We will be staying home tonight.

Well the car show was awesome, lots of cars and lots of people. Weather was a mix of sun and cloud and not hot thankfully. Last night starting at 10:00
we had a wizbanger of a lighting and thunder show for 45 minutes.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning bit of rain but what Cookie said one heck of a dry lightning storm last night. I had thought about coming over for the car show and all the guys I know that went can`t say enough. 1300 cars in fact they turned lots away because they ran out of room, tons of people and the Friday night cruise must have been a blast. Glad you avoided most of the storm JG my brother is flooded out his daughter is mostly ok the lobster boats are ok as far as I know so all is good basically but theres a ton of damage all around them. Have a look at Chester yacht club web cam to see some bad stuff, hope all we have not heard from escaped with little or no damage.
Have a great day

Good afternoon, just came in from some clean up after Dorian but it was mainly cleaning my driveway, racking lawn, some racking grass on neighbor's lawn and and picking stuff up by hand. The racking was done by my lawn tractor and it's mechanical attachment, Wifey one aunt and two sisters are gone to Bangor for 3 days...shopping.
Have a great day.

Good evening, the day started off at 9 and slowly got up to 25, even the sun showed up although not as strong as usual. Almost all of NB residents have their power back on accept for a few hundred.
Have a great evening and a nice sleep.

glad you made it through OK J-G - talked with a friend today who left his cottage near Moncton on Sunday with the hydro out and some shingles gone, said he'd never been so scared in his life, torrential rain and 120 kph wind!
been decent weather here, most rain at night and getting warmer again - looks like this Saturday will be super nice - going to an airport "Wings and Wheels" sponsored by the Canadian Harvard Trainers Assn. - will definitely post pix

Good afternoon, cloudy all morning and not very warm, the last of the no power areas were to be all fixed up by last evening for NB, NS is to be all reconnected by Friday sometime, I think I heard that PEI got the least damage.
Oh my looks like Mr. sun is making a visit.
Have a great day.

Hello again it was a sunny cool but day today, only 6 this morning 12 right now and 24 was the high. Was out doing errands from about 10 to 3:00 and that is about it for today's excitement-dullness.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all. Lots of rain here today, was supposed to go to a show about an hour from my house today, but that got washed out. At least the weather was good for our local Canadian Tire. Mike did you have your car there last night ? If not then she has a twin.

As I look out the windows at work nothing but clear blue sky. Nice and warm out, not calling for any inclement weather. Got the over heating fixed in the valiant. 5 weeks and it will be time to start thinking about putting the car away for the winter.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Ok, I'll take some snow now please!!!
Friggen wasps at work are absolutely horrible, I have been stung 6 times in the last three weeks. The bastards are in your face all day and are relentless and driving everyone nuts.
I got the last one on Wednesday on the inside of my right bicep and my arm got all red and swelled like a balloon, still red about 3" around the sting point and still swollen and sore.
Cloudy here this morning and back to rain tomorrow.

Good morning all.
This is not JG. It is smoken340- Dan.
JG. is having a hard time logging on, so I thought I'd give it a try from my computer.
It seems to have worked for me, so I will call JG. a little later and try to walk him through it.
In the mean time you guys have a great day.
Oh by the way Lyle, there were some nice cars at that show.

For some reason I have not been on the site for months and it never showed any updates so I thought the site was gone and nobody has been on it. I could log on but looked like the last comment was over 2 months old.
Got a new computer and the site works, not sure why ,but I'm back! (sorry for the bad news!!!)

Re: Good Morning Thread
Lyle, I was there just to look around only stayed an hour or so, but I didn't see your car or I would have found you to say hello. I'm still not 100% yet, so yesterday was the first time that I had my Duster out this year.
Keith I thought that you were gone for good. Nice to see you back. No worries Bud, we'll take the bad news with a grain of salt.
Got to get hold of Reg (Ragtacker) and see whats going on with him.
And see if I can fix up JG's problem with logging in .
