Re: Good Morning Thread
Had snow over night but a high of 3 so it's melting away causing a slushy mess.
I was able to get the drivers side window in this morning but have to drive my father-in-law around from the old folks home to a couple of appointments this afternoon. I'll have some pics tomorrow I hope. Now tp work on some of the interior trim pieces for the drivers side..
Reg it wont be long before you can get back on the car!
Have a great day guys!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, had some of that white stuff over night but is a high of 3 so more melting and slush again!
Won't the car for the rest of the week as we are moving the father-in-law into a nursing home. He's 93 but has gone down hill a bit with memory and his ability to get basic things done.
Stay safe and hopefully that dam omicron is gone and no new variants are coming this way!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good evening another beauty day today not sure how warm it got but I had to move out of the sun or burn. This weekend will be working mans weather 5 nice days followed by 2 days of rain. Keith at 93 he has done well eh. I love hearing stories like these my mom is 87 and pretty sharp still and on her own at home. I do worry a bit some days when we talk and the ideas she has(like wtf are you doing) but on the whole its all good.
No new variants allowed!!!!! The car guys are planning and scheming and we need a car season.
Have a great evening and stay safe

Good morning, the snow is melting finally, BUT the is a marsh about 35 minutes away which may get 100 km/h winds today...this is not good for most truckers.

Good morning 5 ish and rain is expected this morning so they say. Ya JG I saw you were getting some nasty weather incoming hang on tight. Car swap meet on Monday which is a holiday here so that should be interesting to say the least. I am going but will wear the peg leg so I can walk a bit but if I see an empty scooter sitting around I`m going to steal it.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon, been fairly mild here for the last couple of days. But we are going to get another blast of winter starting this evening. Been raining since last evening but is supposed to change over to freezing rain and then snow.
Reg, I hope that you have fun a the swap meet, just take your time on that bum leg.

Good morning everyone, nice bright sunny day at -6 and no wind to speak of. A lot of low lying areas got flooded over the last couple of days as our snow banks lost altitude.
Have a great day and stay safe.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day and have a great Family day for those who have it.
Dam snow and cold today, I think it's a high of -14. I'm back in the garage today and we have my Father-in-law moved into the old folks home.
Great race for the Daytonda 500, they had good weather and some crashes but not a bad race day.
Reg I hope the 31 Ford goes well for you!

Good morning, sunny and +12, beautiful blue skies for this time of year, looks almost like spring but this is the Maritimes so we know better, at least now we can see the top of the fire hydrant beside my driveway.
Have a great one and stay safe.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning -5 or something like that but the wind is down and thats good because it was flippin howling yeasterday and -14. Not much going on looking at a heat pump for the plastic garage and for 900 bucks I may just do it. I don`t care about air conditioning in the summer but need some warmth in there for the winter and this may be the best route. Keith its like Christmas all over again look forward to the pics

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good evening 4 and sunny. Snowed a tiny bit last night and its mostly gone. So we had all the insulation or what little there was is more accurate stripped out yesterday and the new will be installed tomorrow. Good timing given the minus temps etc lol but this is when we could get it done so grab a blanket and wait! New stuff goes in tomorrow so it will be a warm weekend for sure.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, a bit warmer today high of 3.
Reg hopefully you get the insulation installed and it much warmer!
Well I didn't get all the work I wanted yesterday so no pics, but hopefully today I get the parts installed and have some pics. I'm still waiting for some parts from Laysons. I had to order from them as National Moparts couldn't get them for me.
Have a great weekend guys!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day gents, sunny but cool today and even cooler when the door is wide open all day brrrrrr. She is just finishing up the job and and doing the cleanup so furnace on any minute we hope. She stripped out everything in both attics resealed all the vapour barriers installed soffit vents and blew in R55 in both atttics. She said on her initial inspection for the estimate we basically had R 0 lol so this should make a noticeable difference. Going to maybe do a bit of sanding tomorrow in the garage on the Valiant I hope. Got the 31 Model A finished up today so maybe will help do the install tomorrow heres a few pics of the rough installs not the final install.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Reg 31 Ford looks great!
Dam warm day today, my thermostat says 14, on the plus that is. Tomorrow more snow though!
MY Laysons parts showed up today but they are all sitting on the bench waiting for an install. I have to rebuild the Hurst shifter tomorrow so I can get the rest of the trans shift rods bolted in.
Have a great day guys!

Good day all. Snowy and cold here today only a high of -3.
Started putting some of my parts on from National. It was a bit of a bear to get the Trans dust covers on. But she's in and looking good.
