Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning its 3 or so and clody foggy not sure but theres no flippin sun. JG when you are getting those amounts of snow you can say whatever you want nobody will argue or be in envy lol. Got another set of linkable leds for the garage so once I get going again I will have tons of light on the subject. Going to try and putter around out there today but I will have to do it while the boss is away shopping or I will get in trouble. I need to make a boot to go over my cast to keep it all clean so maybe I will do that I don`t know I am going stir crazy so…………

Re: Good Morning Thread
Hey Reg just wrap your cast with duct tape or something...but then you might be better off with something solid...like concrete!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Reg you must be passing that weather on to us via some wind. Was 4 when I got up and a high of 11. Not windy so far but suppose to pick up later.
I was at the other garage yesterday trying to get the Demon going. I had a small rust hole in the floor so I patched that up and put most of the interior back together. Hopefully I will have it fired back up this coming weekend.
Have a great day guys!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day, high of 15 today with more wind. The good news is almost all the snow we had is now melted.
Yesterday I installed my summit gauges in the Cuda and now I'm waiting for parts to arrive from Laysons and National Moparts! Did a last order of parts and hopefully I'm done with ordering parts, but I somehow doubt it!
Have a great day all!

Haha seems to be a problem across the country mine hasn’t worked for months. Not spending another cent on fancy Lacrosse weather stations

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, we have had above 0 temps, for the last few days But that's all about to end this weekend with highs of -17. At least a bit of snow melted.
My wife ordered some clothes that was coming out of the US. Well Fedex, lost the shipment 2 weeks ago. Today I got a call from Canada Post, asking for my wife. They wanted to know our address, because a mail carrier found a package in a snow bank 2 blocks from my home but on the same street mind you. Turns out Fedex delivered it to the wrong house and somehow the package wound up buried in the persons front yard. Long story short Canada Post delivered it to our house.I was amazed that the mail carrier went out of her way like that, because Canada Post isn't known for it's customer service.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all. Really nice here today was 15 but has cooled off as the wind picked up.
Dan I'm amazed that Canada Post went out of there way to do that. But it only takes one employee to either go above or just drop the ball. But I'm glad they went above the call of duty for you!
It's funny I have one of those weather stations and sure enough it is a La cross. We've had it for at least 10 years and it still working other than putting in new batteries she's still working perfectly!
The last couple of days I've been working on getting the drivers side quarter window in and working. It's in and working fairly smooth but talk a bout a lesson in frustration!! I should of left it in the car and just taped it up instead of removing it!
Good day guys!

My wife read the instructions and reset the weather station and it is working again, like it is supposed to.

Thanks JG, I'm hoping to have it running this summer but I'm sure something will come up to slow me down!jgl360 wrote:Just keep up the good work...it sure will be nice when you take the car for a drive and everywhere you stop you get compliments, even from GM and Ford guys.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good evening boy have we had some nice weather the last few days. I said to my better half its like desert weather warm days cool nights and lots of sun. Looking good Keith keep up the good work. Nothing new can`t do much on the car yet although if I could get a few guys together we could move it backwards and maybe get the leaning tower of power out and tore down. Had to pass on a complete set of 6 webers intake manifold and all it was the real deal but they were more than I paid for the car so did not pull the pin on it.
