See, there's your problem. Between pushing a car and bending their elbow and lifting bottles, guys are getting hungry. And if they have to leave to find food, then there's no since showing up in the first place. Remember, guys only think about 3 things, BEER BOOBS and FOOD. But not necessarily in that order.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good evening not a bad day at all. My brother came over to watch football and not much got done today but thats ok he needs to hang with me for a bit so all is good. Lots of rain last night not too much wind here although Cookie may have a different version as Van seems be the target lately. I will move all the project work off here but I have to say how impressed I am with how little rust I am seeing so far. The biggest area of work is the trunk lid which appears to have been hit hard but nothing else. The wheel wells are a problem but a bit of welding and patch panels will fix that the rest is surface rust.
Have a great evening

Reg, since there is only a few guys ever here there is no harm in posting your pics. I for one like seeing them. Everyone who is fine with Reg posting his pics here put your hands up.

Good morning all. It's still above 20 and sunny here today. But after all of the hot and humid air that we've had, it actually feels cool. Went to my first car show Saturday, not a huge turnout. But it was the first time that this club used this location. Starting next May, the show will be here weekly. Our other local show will not be back as the guy running it has decided to give it up.
Reg, when it comes to pictures of anyone's projects, I have both hands up.

You can post where ever you like. The good morning thing was started by me, to keep the site active. So whether you post here or some where else it won't really matter. Only difference is if you have never been here before you probably wouldn't think of looking here for anyone's project.

Re: Good Morning Thread
K thanks. The good news from the stripping down of the car is when we retracted the convertible there was no leaks and as we had to put it down manually rather than under power the was alot of resistance so thats a win. I have to say I am blown away at what little rust there is on the car. We went at it with rare earth magnets and its solid. It is now stripped to the skelton so its about time to get cutting me thinks. The trunk lid is the surprising part so far, the car was apparently hit in the trunk lid and caused quite a bit of damage which was partly covered by bad body work although it was probably acceptable back in the day.

Re: Good Morning Thread
I should say my buddy Gordie is doing the trunk lid for me. Hes is retired and bored and wanted to get going on this so I let him have at er. He does quality work and more importantly I am doing his model A interior as a trade off so everyone is happy.

Flippin' everywhere - can't leave a glass of wine out for more than 2 minutes and you've got bloody swimmers...
Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 8 and who needs sun when you have a moon you could read by WOW. Fruit flies are bad this year, I think they started earlier maybe because of the hot summer but worst year I can think of.
