Re: Good Morning Thread
Dan thats the plan. She wants a red convertible so the paint is red, black convertible top and we think rd on red interior but it may wind up white not sure yet. Still tossing the motor idea either the 273 or the 225 slant. Di`s cousin in Aus has a Valiant with a slant that hes building with big horsepower so shes keeping an eye on that. Her real stipulation is the car has to be quiet not like your frigen Dart she says lol. It will be fun

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 13 and just starting to rain but should be done with that after lunch. Watching some vids of the Langley cruise in man it was busy last night and the show is today hope the rain doesn`t make it there. Think I am going to put the Dart away early this year I am chomping at the bit to get going on the Valiant. I just found a place for 75 a month for 6 months so change of plans instead of putting the Dart in the hauler I am going with the new storage then I have a place for the Valiant parts in the hauler.
Have a great day stay safe

Re: Good Morning Thread
Supposed to start raining by 1:30 so going over to the show early. Already hit the gym at 7:00 this morning for my 2hr grind.
Yesterday late afternoon they had the old timers cruise a block over from my place and the main show today is just two blocks over from me so we can just walk over and start at one end. The cars get lined up side by side at an angle for exactly one mile on both sides of Fraser highway from 264th street to 272nd street (which is exactly one mile) so 2 miles of cars side by side to look at and drool over. A bunch of entertainment going on, Vendors selling their goodies.....and oh my......all the pretty females all over the place. Will have a sore neck by the time I get back home. "CARRY ON"

Apparently over 1100 cars at the show today, everything from old to new and a lot of people. Rain held off until 4:00 so that was good for everyone. Will upload a few pics tomorrow.

Lyle Theodore was in Halifax NS, but was sold to somebody in Ontario...I believe.
This morning's weather was ok but the wind sure picked up and the clouds moved in and hid that yellow disk...At least its not raining.
--Dan the slant is also known as the leaning tower of power...
Have a good one...

Good morning, had a pretty busy weekend, looking at a bunch of properties. Made an offer on one and it was accepted. Now I'm trying to close the deal. Hope to get through this stressful ordeal soon. Buying a place isn't simple anymore.
Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning all. Well I didn't think that it was possible, but even after the papers were signed by both parties, the F##N, seller backed out. I think they feel that there's more money for it out there, but to me a deal is a deal. But I guess it's legal because I hadn't dropped off my deposit cheque yet (had until midnight last night to do so). Nothing that I can do about it. So I guess the search continues.
Have a good day.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Hey guys I'm back from Holidays, We stayed in southern Alberta and the last week we were in Cypress hills south of medicine Hat. It was sure warm down there.
Dan sorry to hear of your poor buying experience. Yes, I agree a signed paper is a deal finished and they should stick with it.
Lyle I'm jealous of your trips around with the Barracuda. Looks like you had a great summer!
Good day guys!!!

Reg that 1.5 to 2.0 mil house in the maritimes would likely cost you in the $750,000 range and that would include lots of extra land.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 10 and well lets just say it pouring down out there. Tomorrows forecast is see previous sentence and same for Sunday its wet and staying that way for awhile. Got the Dart moved to its winter home last night ahead of the rain so shes dry and clean and ready for spring. Going to try and find some help to push the Valiant into the garage sometime this weekend, I have lots of volunteers but only on sunny days so I may have to sweeten the deal.

Hey Reg, may'be you should try cold beer and warm pizza. Instead of warm beer and cold pizza. I find that usually works for me. lol
