Snow Day! (what else can you call weather so crappy that you can't tell if it's snow, rain, sleet, hail, whatever) schools are closed, events cancelled, so I stayed home and caught up on my sleep... and since Valentines Day is only 2 days away... cheers

Good morning 2ish depending on where you hang your hat. The snow and cold temps are moving off thankfully and hopefully thats the end of it. We broke a 20 year old record for snowfall, I hope its another 20 years till it gets broken again 3 1/2 hours shovelling is bs I actually ran out of spots to put the shit.

Reg welcome to the real world, ''3 1/2 hours shoveling is bs I actually ran out of spots to put the shit.'' ...Been there done that AND more than once too.
Temps went down to -9 last night but now up to -8 so far, we woke to a clean blanket of white snow this morning and it will snow all day til the freezing shit around supper time followed by more snow overnight. Can hardly wait to see what kind of mess we will have tomorrow morning.

Good morning, clear skies and sunny -9 out going to -5 and -17 tonight.We had a little snow last evening but not even enough to bother clearing although knowing myself I will probably clear a bit of it. We'll get some more snow at some point in the not too distant future. Keith doesn't know what he is missing and probably doesn't want to know.

Good morning 3 and rain. This will be interesting to see how much rain we get on top of 12-18 inches of snow but at least this garbage will be gone for now at least.

Good afternoon, this mornings temps started at -14, now -3, going to +7 by tomorrow morning and then cooling off slowly all day, oh by the way we are supposed to get light snow this evening followed by light rain and finally heavy rain a good part of tomorrow.
I saw on tv that Vancouver got 27 cm of snow.

REG WROTE: This will be interesting to see how much rain we get on top of 12-18 inches of snow but at least this garbage will be gone for now at least.

Sunny so far today but we are only sitting at +4c. Slipped and Twisted my back yesterday, so didn't get a lot of sleep last night and played hokey from work today. Reg, I'm trying to feel bad for you guys out there with all the snow that your getting, but somehow I can't. Laughing

Ya I get it but just so ya know we have set a new record for snowfall this month with 2 weeks to come yet. The count as of today is 26 3/4 inches. I could care a less either way except for one thing and that’s the Dart. Being it’s in a Costco garage is stressful but this will be the last winter for that storage option.

+1 today with a little snow that turned to a little rain , not enough of either to matter but the plus 1 has me living under an avalanche . theres something strangely pleasant to me about the rumble and roar of the snow running off the roof above me . except of course the rotten sob township plowing guy piled this last big dump on my side of the lane instead of the opposite side which is a vacant lot so when the snow runs off that side I have to shovel the lane to get out .
PS new moon is the 19th I heard so we will be firing up the hotrods very soon

Don't complain too much, we are up to 85+ cm so far, so 100 should be no problem to reach. That is over 3 feet.

DAN WROTE: Okay I'll give in and feel sorry for the Dart.

Hope the COSTCO shed holds up.

Good luck in Halifax drive safe , I get to go to Gatineau tomorrow to transfer my license after waiting 3 months for an appointment yippee French Civil Servants , always a joy to deal with ... better drop my Quebec birth certificate on the counter early in the conversation eh !
