Good morning all. We have a bit of cloud today, but at least no precipitation.
And we are on the plus side at 2. Supposed to hit 7 by Sunday, should help melt some snow. Have a good day.

Back from the beautiful Cuba for 2 weeks. Had a bit of rain there but overall perfect weather. Today here is a high of -6 and low of -17. ug

We saw lots of old cars driving around in Cuba and the funny thing is most were converted to diesel. We found an old Dodge and got the guy to open the hood and it was running a Toyota truck 4 cyl diesel with a 5sp and was converted to Disc brakes al round. We were on an island Cayo Santa Maria and resort was great along with the food.

Good morning 2 wind rain maybe some sun and a high of 7. Sounds like a good holiday Keith interesting about the Cuban chrome but as I thought about it converting to diesel would be the answer for those cars but I can`t imagine the difficulty in doing so.

Yea Reg, most of the old cars are converted to diesel and had different bolt pattern front to back in a lot of cases. We saw one old Dodge that had it's original 6 but all the rest sounded like diesels, or the black smoke gave them away!

yeah they have all sorts of embargo exempt drive trains under the hood of pre 59 bombers , sime have Russian 4 cyl deiseks because that was the only cars that got in so once the cars rotted the drive trains got cannabilized .

rain and snow and wind, oh my! Sad when you have to take a weather day on your day off (didn't feel like driving across a great big bridge with wind gust up to 110kph in addition to the rest of the crap.

Good morning, well Lyle, I seen pictures of what ice did that was driven by high winds around the great lakes and it sure is intimidating. High bridges and high winds are not a marriage made in heaven. I was out this morning at 7:30 clearing the little snow we got 5-10 cm but at that time of day there was almost no wind, the wind started picking up shortly after though.
At present it is cloudy and windy with light snow expected at times during the day. The temp at 7:00 was 0 but now is around -3 without the windchill and heading to -10, -12 tonight.
Have a great day it's a good one to be indoors.
Even L.A. got snow last week, weird seeing white palm trees.

Good day all, cold and windy today causing blowing snow. I just heard on the radio that there is a 70 car pileup on the 400 highway. That’s our main North/south artery.

Good partly cloudy morning, we are at -12 right now and only going up to -11 today with gusts of wind. Sure is nice to feel normal after 3 1/2 months of hell....And the beat goes on.
