Good morning, TGIF day, 12 and cloudy with rain scheduled to start around 12-1 ish. beautiful cruising day yesterday. Had the Dart safety inspected this morning and as usual it passed with flying colors.
You shouldn't have to worry Reg as Sheldon is still a young whipper-snipper. He'll never catch up to us.
Have a great day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good Saturday afternoon, 23 at 3:00 and been sunny all morning with highs toping out just under 30 or above. Tomorrow should be about the same except with a few more clouds with rain of course sometime next week.
Starting to choose our clothes for our tour out west the 15th - 30th.
Did some clean-up this morning after last evening's wind.
Have a great day all.

Well looks like we are back to the dirty 30's here on the prairies. no fricken rain, and more heat and wind. The farmers are all going to be looking at insurance this year. So the car show at the A&W was a Ford show, HAHAHAHA Should of taken the duster down to class the place up .lololol

Well well well, the sun finally showed up with blue skies.
Sheldon we have too much rain but if you want some you will have to come and get it yourself.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day gents, been busier than a one armed paper hanger. Had company from AUS for the last 4 days plus work plus trying to get the wiring finished on the Dart. Its the 600 car Fathers day show 2 hours up the road and I am in The first 200 so real important to get this done and get it done right. But being my own worst enemy I decided to redo the back seat seeing as I know have the branding irons for the back seat. Now need spit and polish and a whole lot of elbow grease.
Have a great day

Good day guys just came back from just over a week of camping in Kananaskis just east of Banff. It's been nice and warm here except a couple of days at the end of last week.
Going to pick up a newly installed 8 3/4 sure grip.. and put the Demon back together tomorrow.

We were near the lower lake at Elkwood campground but did our fishing in the upper lake 10 minutes further away. Lots of bites but didn't hook a single fish!

Re: Good Morning Thread
A tribute to my mechanic:
My left leg is still messed up, still wearing a brace when I leave the house and using a crutch to help me get up the stairs at home ( yes, after 4 1/2 months, I can have a shower again), so no idea when I'll be able to drive the 4-speed Fish.
But I went to the storage locker tonight to put the new sticker on the licence plate, and couldn't resist - had to fire her up - and fire up she did - sitting unheated for almost 7 months through a Canadian winter and a damned cold spring - had to let her turn over a few times, but darn it was nice to hear that rumble!

Good morning, not even 9:00 and it is already 22 but cloudy, looks like 10-2 is the shower period for today and clearing up after. The 15th is getting closer, soon it will be time to head to the airport. I guess packing is somewhere in the near future.
Have a good day all...and good luck Lyle.

Good morning 10 and windy. Spring still has not settled in and this may be one of our crap summers by the looks of things. It was very windy last night and still is this morning, rain is in the forecast for the next few days in shower form so really hoping it clears for Sunday for the car show. Pack your parka JG you may need it ...... kidding but maybe not geesh

Good Morning, finally a break from the heat. Windy 13 nice and cool. My balls are sticking to my ass from the heat and humidity. Hope we get some well deserved rain here this week. I am at the damn refinery again in fire rated coveralls for the next 3 days. Yeesh.

Re: Good Morning Thread
The sun popped out, sure is nice to have around, we had more than our share of rain.
I like the heat from the sun but my wife not so much. She prefers a/c and likes it a lot more than I do. I like our mini-splits in the winter but in the summer (well lets just say I can live without them).

the leg
Ragtacker wrote:Good news on the fish Lyle but holy heck whats with the leg?
I lost an argument with the stairs at home back in January - tore the ACL off my left leg - going to physio and exercising every day, but they tell me
could be up to a year before I recover full range of motion and strength.
Oh well, I have more resto to do this year anyway.
Re: Good Morning Thread
Arrg ouch. Don`t want to be an old man comparing war wounds but The main reason I have an automatic is my left knee has a blown posterior cruciate ligament 50% cartlidge loss and good old arthritis. No ops in the immediate future but a new knee is on the way one day. Good luck with that knee
