Well, well, well good afternoon, 2 and hopefully climbing a bit more but again we have no sun yet but he is to make an appearance later...supposedly. No work on the Dart today as this is a day of rest. Was out running errands with the boss this morning.
Have a bloody great day.

We are supposed to be back in double digits by Sunday with lots of sun. I just hope the weather predictors have it right this time.Grumpy427 wrote:Plus 6 today but double digits all weekend and next week. Looks like yard work time.

Good morning all, should hit 9 today with a little sun. Going to look at some properties today. Looking at one place that is 5 acres and has a 30x40 shop on it, I know that's a little small, but should be large enough for me. I have 3 on the viewing list, hopefully I can find something that I like.
Have a great day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
I would be happy with a 30x40 shop as long as it had a 10-12 foot ceiling. Then a guy can install a lift. Cold this morning, should be 13 by this afternoon. see what the wind blows in.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Your right Sheldon 30 X 40 would be nice and big, a lot bigger than what I have but because we have an easement from the power company, my garage cannot be any wider, it is a 2' wider than a reg. 1 car garage and about 5' longer.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good evening all. Well I didn't like anything that I looked at. Guess I'm comparing everything to the ten acres, that I sold 5 years ago. I had a 40x 60 shop there with 2 hoists. I sure do miss that place. Have a couple more places lined up for veiwing tomorrow.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Thats too bad Dan. I remember when i got married, a year after we bought this place, i found an acreage 25 min outside the city, 2 miles off the hwy. it was 104 acres, 1200 sq ft house with barn, 2 car garage and a quanset. They were asking $75,000 I was all over it, but i married a princess and she didnt want to leave the city. Stupid cow. lol damn that could of been a great place. sewer and water natural gas all on the property. oh well those days are gone.
Keep looking man you will find what your dreaming about.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Think I found 3 acres, so now I'm going to look into custom built house and garage. It's a beautiful secluded country lot not far from the new Nascar track being built now.

I found a NOS sure grip locally for the 8 1/4 rear end on the Dart Sport, installed it with help along with 3.55 gears I had hanging around, put those instead of my 2.76 gears.

Hey Reg your headers are hanging too low like mine, two or three remedies for this, 1: if your running 14's go to 15's, 2- if you have 60's go to 70's, 3 do like I did add a 1 1/8'' front sway bar and scrapping should be gone and much better handling is what you get for your efforts or use somebody else's driveway. If you go the sway bar route get a solid one and not a hollow one.
