Missed the morning somehow and now its bedtime. Didn`t miss anything another cool rainy day and second to last day doing the Empress Hotel job. Just one more floor to do, won`t be sad to have this job finished.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning everybody, another cm of snow last night but I don't expect the ground to stay white very long as it is already just -1; got way down to -2 last night with a predicted high of maybe 1 with no sun. Going to install my new spark plugs which I bought and gapped yesterday. Going back to copper cores as the NGK Iridiums I had last year required more voltage output than I had (so I found out) They worked great for the first month though. Might even drain the oil and change the filter while I'm at it.
Have a great day all.

Where I was blowing the snow on the front lawn, the snow bank came down about 6'+ already from a whopping 10' and everywhere else like in the fields there is only about 6'' of snow left with bare spots everywhere. Two years ago we had a hard winter and that 10' snow bank grew to 12'+ high.

Good Morning. another great day here in Sask. supposed to be 13 and mild all week. Good News all purchase orders for work have been suspended at the refinery. So i no longer have to worry about being forced to cross a picket line.

Changed the plugs, cleaned the battery posts, changed the filter and now letting the oil drain for a while. Maybe more work tomorrow depending on how my back feels.

Since I did physio last spring, my back has been usually pain free unless I stretch too much, then I feel it the following day or two.Grumpy427 wrote:Back pain is a bitch. I know first hand how you feel JG. Mine comes and goes, somedays it hurts to breath.
As we get older things just fall apart and are mostly due to stupid things we did when we were young.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all. We had another decent day today reaching an high of 10, but seems this is it for a few days. They are calling for a rain/snow mix tomorrow with a high of 3. At least I have the day off tomorrow.

Good morning, another cloudy day but with a low of only -2 earlier now already -1 with a high of 2-5 unless the sun comes out. Today I think I might tackle the front sway bar bushings(poly) unless the lack of room puts a halt to this.
Have a great day all.

Good morning all, cool start to the day. The snow/rain mix will hold off until this afternoon, but once here it will stick around to Saturday morning. Enjoy your day all.

Good morning 2 and clear, well well well ol sol is making an appearance. Should get to 11,12,13 or so, one can only hope. Jeez Dan good thing your ball team has a covered stadium the season starts next week. I remember the first game they played at the CNE it looked a bit cool lol. JG be careful if its to tight stay away you need an escape route if something goes sideways. One of my real nervous moments is having the car on jack stands and getting under there. I would love a lift like Kwik Lift but to much moola have to wait for the dollar to come back a bit. For now once she is where I want her I block the corners with wood block back ups as well.

I need to lift my garage, bust out the floor and pour a new floor with a 2 foot footing then set the garage back down. Then i could install a lift in my garage the ceiling is too low at this time. So for me i have to trust my jack stands, in 26 years they have never let me down. Same with my two floor jacks, man those have been flawless as well.

HAHAHAHA. I hate fasting as well for blood work. I need my Coffee first thing in the morning. Then you sit for 25 min at the lab before you can give blood. By then its road rage to the nearest Tim's after you leave.

That's funny. We are finally able to book an appointment now so not quite as much waiting but it's probably the only part of the day where I will be the youngest person in the crowd
