Good morning people, -2 this morning but +2 later without sun to warm us up. Loosing the computer today till supper time cause my wife is taking it with her to take notes at her voluntary work which is more than a few hours here and there. So I will be quiet today.
Have a great day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 0 but again clear as a bell. Got some intermitent showers yesterday but overall a great day to smash your headers. JG we are going to adjust the torsion bars first and if theres still not enough clearance then I will do the sway bar remedy thanks for that advice. I know there must be a bad ground somewhere thats screwing with my lights but thats an evil bugger to find we will see but I need it fixed quickly because the car has to go through an inspection before they will quailfy it for collector plates.

Good Morning everyone. Sorry to hear this Reg. I am wondering if your lite sw is the culprit, or if its in the steering column? As for the header, how low is your car in the front end? My headers with a big block and my exhaust is tucked up nice and high. I am running a 205/70/15 front tire so mine sits up pretty well.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Sheldon I have a spare switch that I had cleaned up so put that in and still nothing. I think its a ground and the reason I said that when I went out in the dark last night the signals were both blinking at the same time. Barely visible as well but I do have an ace in the hole. I bought a headlight relay from the abody site and will put that in now and it should make a big difference. I will definitely give a report as soon as that is installed.

Re: Good Morning Thread
ok yes bad grounds on these old cars will cause issues. And or a burnt out bulb as well.

Yeah Reg I just thought of the torsion bar adjustment about 15 minutes after my wife was gone with the lap top but if you upgrade your front sway bar you will notice a BIG and positive difference. Just make sure you get the solid type sway bar and not the tube or hollow type.

Good morning, bright and sunny but a darn -3 for this morning with a high of around 4-6, not too bad til it clouds over just before supper...or so they say. I see some polishing in the future but it is still too darn cool in the garage.
Have a great day everybody.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning all, going to have heavy rain all day today, which is great for me in more than one way. First it's cleaning the streets and second it's perfect for looking at land. At least I'll know if I'm looking at a swamp or a place with good drainage. Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 5 and we are going back into the rain/showers for a few days. Yesterday was stellar, sunny and warm kind of a teaser really. Got the car up in the air a bit so should be ok but we will see. Off to an old family friends for transmission service, nothing wrong that I know of but its the only part of the car that has not hand someones hands on it so it needs to be looked at. If he will allow it I will take some pics you won`t believe the Mopars in his collection.

I haven't been on in a few days but on Sunday I got time to install the rear end with the new 4.10 gear set installed. I have an overdrive so it still should be fine on the hwy. I had 3:55 and found it lugged a bit at 60MPH.... it was fine at 75-80 mph so the 4.10 should solve that problem. I had my youngest son wrenching too! Fun day!

A bit chilly here on the prairies, but sunny. Have a small job this morning, then home to try to sleep. Have a long night shift tonight. UGH. Holidays next week though.

Good morning all. We have a very rainy day in store today. I will have to spend the day inside making phone calls, making sure the property that I'm looking at can be built on. The Conservation Authority, pretty well dictates everything in Ontario. Have a good day all.
