thanks Dan - cue Willie Nelson "On the road again!" - the guys got the leak fixed (something about the flanges on the old fuel sender (that's being replaced on Monday) needing to be bent to tighten up the fit) - not mechanically inclined, just don't want any more puddles of fuel. And next week hopefully I'll be able to know how much is in the tank! Cool

It's held at BURLS CREEK, Just off of HWY 11. about 20k or so from the 400/11 split. If you've never been there, then you gotta go. Just wear comfortable shoes. The place is huge. It's pretty well impossible to do the whole place in a day, if you look at all the vendors tables. They are in their 38th year I think. They have a spring and Fall event.

Oh I've been there for many years.I used to work at the speedway that was right beside it for 25 years. I know the owner well. I quit going 5-6 years ago. Got sick of all the wood carvings, clothes , arts and crafts. They out numbered the cars parts. Last time I went I walked the whole place and found one rusty 440 head and a rusty ralley wheel, that was it for Mopar parts. Paying for parking was the last straw for me. Hope its improved, rumor has it the days are numbers as the new owners of the property are not interested in it.

Returned from the car show, no rain today and had supper already. Were to go to a ballgame this evening but the rain took care of that. Will say good bye tomorrow before I leave for Italy.

Well this was my first time in about 4 years. Nothing has changed, lots and lots of arts and crafts, clothing and wood carvings. There was a guy there with a lot of E-Body parts and a small amount of A-Body parts. Another guy had a set of 340, J- heads, but he wanted a firm $450.for, and they were so dirty that I couldn't make out any of the numbers. Would have likely have bought them if they had a 72 date code. By the time I paid for parking and entrance, for myself and my wife, I was already down $25. Probably going to be my last time going.

Good day all, another nice day today. Humidity is supposed to return for tomorrow, still plan on going for a cruise just the same. Going to go play in the garage for a couple of hours now. Enjoy what's left of your day.
Reg, keep the cool stuff there please.
