Re: Good Morning Thread
The reason that I asked about a picture, is because I've put new S/S springs in the rear of my car last year so I wanted to get an idea of what my car would look like if I raised the front up an inch or so.Grumpy427 wrote:Not yet Dan. Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning all, supposed to rain all day today, although they said it was supposed to start around 3am and it didn't, so maybe it won't rain at all.
Maybe I'll just spend a few hours cleaning off the road grime from yesterdays outing. Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Hello, car show's over already, high clouds but at least no sun burning down on us, two Mopars among the top 6...very unlikely; so that is what Reg looks like.
Have a great day all.

Damn weather people, haven't got a clue. They were calling for rain all day and it turns out we didn't get a friggen drop. Probably the only job where you can be wrong and never get fired.

Very much so. Contact Dave at Tash Air on facebook or at TashAir123@yahoo.ca he is in your area and as you can see does fantastic work. If you decide to get a shirt you may have to wait he is getting very busy but the cost is cheap considering its a one of a kind piece of art.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning to all, slept in a bit because we went to a car show yesterday and the regular cruise last night, was a long day but at least we didn't have a hot sun to deal with...just high clouds some sun peaking through a few times, hardly a breeze and being by the water and one of our Mopar friends was 60 yesterday.
Have a great day all.

The whole idea with a rad is to allow the air to get through it. so if your rows or core material is too close together that will be a problem. The fan is a key as well. 18" min fan and a high temp stat so the water gets held in the rad longer to be able to cool. I have a 195 stat in my 80 vette. 350 hp 355 sbc 3 core rad shroud and same 18" nylon fan. car runs at 195-200 all the time regardless of the temp outside. this is normal.
Thanx for the info. I should have bought the Smith's unit. Instead I spent roughly the same money and ended up with a Champion and a Northern

Re: Good Morning Thread
Guess I, have a small job to do tomorrow. I ordered a new tach, for my car last week and it arrived about 10 minutes ago. So maybe I'll do that tomorrow instead of cruising around, burning gas.

Re: Good Morning Thread
A sunny good morning, only 12 this morning but heading to 28 or so. Ordered a water temp gauge so I will be crawling under the dash at some point. Not much going on, just waiting for my back to get a little better until I am able to go for walks...trying to jog a bit was not a good idea.
Have a great day all.
