Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, just got home from work and had a message on the answering machine, to call my bank. Turns out one of my cards has been compromised, so they cancelled all of my cards. Sure hope the wife doesn't try to use her card before I can get a hold of her.

That means it was a bank card and not one from a card company because if it was from a card company, they would have advised you and usually a lot sooner than banks can. I know from experience that Visa is very fast.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning all, well it turns out that it was my Visa card, so the card company cancelled the card. Apparently someone was trying to make a large on line purchase that the bank felt was not my normal routine so they never allowed the transaction to go through. I'm just glad that it wasn't my Debit card because that would make it hard to get cash during off hours.
Have a good day all.

Good morning people, I guess Dan was up early this morning, good thing they found out what was up with your card.
Gloomy and wet again, at least no white stuff yet, snow tires are going on next weekend. Four sets of 4 are all lined up at my garage door.

I have 4 cars to do. I no longer do it myself, I have a friend that owns a Green & Ross store and he doesn't charge me anything.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning everybody, cool cloudy and frosty when I woke up. Hope Dan's back is all better.
Last week the GPS in the Dart (speedometer) fell to the floor and broke a wire or connection inside the cord that powers it and after twisting this enough I ended up blowing a fuse in the main block. The good part is that I had a spare one but I had to find it. I should make it out to the garage today to replace it and see if the radio will play now.
I even seen a few snowflakes this morning but these were melting as soon as they hit the ground.

Keep them up there as long as you can, we don't need or want them yet.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, was a nice day today, excellent weather for working. My back was still very sore this morning, it is feeling somewhat better now. I have a Doctors appointment tomorrow, I'll mention it to him, however with everything going on with me right now, I'm not sure my back will even make his list of priorities.
Hey petnic01, can you please keep all hell breaking lose in Northern Ontario, for another month or so ? I figure if we hold out long enough, then we can go from fall straight into spring.

Well I made it to the garage, I finally figured out that the main problem was likely with the radio, I rarely play it as the car is too loud for me to hear it anyway. So if it stays off I can run my GPS...with another fuse of course.

We got a slight dusting of the white stuff this morning, the temp is a whopping 0 C at the moment. The tree branches are hardly moving so most of the time there is hardly a breeze. All are fine on my end.

Good morning, cool start today but the sun is shining and it's supposed to get up to +11, so it should be a nice day. Off to the doctors, have a good day all.

Good morning! +11C here as well but rain...again. We haven't seen the sun for several weeks now. Lots of moisture in the ground. Should be fun with temperatures plummeting to daytime highs of -5C by the weekend. Don't worry Dan. You guys never get the kind of weather we get up here. I think its normal for you fellas to go from fall to spring. The humidity is a killer though.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Myself, just DREAD to know what is coming. Spring is something we not often get, we go from fall, to a long winter, to a couple weeks of spring and sometimes summer shows up. Usually nice weather for the Atlantic Nationals weekend though. 'Canada's largest car show' 2000 nice cars and some beautiful bodies too...metal and otherwise.
Cuban weather is nice though.

Cuban weather is really nice! Thinking of going this Spring again before the American influence settles in. When are the Atlantic nationals?

Re: Good Morning Thread
Unfortunately Cuba is not in the plans and I hope the Americans do not ruin Cuba...although they are good at ruining things but they don't believe that part.
The Atlantic Nationals are in Moncton NB, just a short drive away from you...15 plus hours or 2 day leisurely drive or two week vacation, take 3 days to come down, 4 days at the Nats one day at the beach or something 2days to go home and then rest before work. See I have everything planned out for you.
