Re: Good Morning Thread
I used to say what happens if I live to be 90 and I have no money left and then I say to my self, thiscis Canada, and I've never heard of anyony starving to death, unless they choose to drink instead of eating. We only go around this old world once and I intend on enjoying what ever time I have here. I guess since getting sick, I have a different way of looking at things now.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good Friday morning, I hear you guys on the money thing. I wish my Mum & Dad were as well off as I was in my 30's. I'm not rich but have always had a meal on my plate and never went cold.
Sometimes the kids of today need some of this old medicine to wake them up.

Good day all.
Phil, you take care of yourself.
Money certainly was in short supply when I was a kid, but I don't think we really knew the difference. We had what we had and were happy.

Good evening all, Mr. A take whichever meds the doctor gave you and get well soon, spent the day at the tree of hope-arbre de l'espoire, cancer money fund drive...their goal was $1.7 million and they got $1.806 million. That would last me quite a while.

Re: Good Morning Thread
J-G! It's nice to see that they excedeed their goal. That kind of money would last for awhile, but if you can't have it, at least it went to a good cause.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, well afternoon, I did get up early for a Saturday morning, wife went shopping, I spent some of the morning and start of the afternoon making the connections to the Xmas lights at the front and side of the house. All that remains is a couple spotlights. Next sort of nice day to work outside is Tuesday so that is probably when they will get done.
Cloudy and damp day...only +1.

Good morning all, no J-G not out of order just spending time at the funeral home. The actual funeral is not until Tuesday. Today I have a lot of Christmas preparations to get out of the way. Have a good day all.

Good day all, kind of late but was out shopping early this morning and just kept on busy after that. Dan is out doing the funeral thing today I think and meeting relatives he has not seen in years, probably. I have the chance of going to the funeral parlor this evening.
This morning was cold...like -8, reached a high of +6 or so.
Have a good and productive day.
Mr. Doiron take care of that pneumonia and good luck.

Re: Good Morning Thread
December 1st already.
The sun is out already and -7 going to a balmy +2...might not be bad in the sun. Had to go and trade cars with my son, he said his would not break or steer all of a sudden...sounds as if it stalled and pumped the breaks til there was nothing. Should be a nice day to work outside this afternoon.
Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, back from the funeral and as you'd expect it was a very somber affair. The weather sucked for driving in, the fog was so heavy you couldn't see the car in front. Just like driving in pea soup. Damp and drizzly as well. Time for a nap.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning everyone, drizzly morn. but supposed to turn to real rin later ... I think, at least it's above freezing.
My son's car started ok this morning but when he got to leave the battery light was on, so he took my wife's car, later I cleaned the battery posts(they really needed it), went for a test drive and all seems well. We'll see tomorrow morning. Nice to have somebody in the house who knows a little about what makes a car tick or not tick.

Yeah there is usually one and usually a male but more and more there are no males around so the women spend lots of $$$ in service garages which they normally wouldn't have to. Although some females know their way around the front of the car that most woman and even some men don't even know how to open.
