Same here, I came home one day and there was a skidsteer chewing up my back yard. My wife decided we need a desert terrain back there, no argument from me..Your estimate on an hour a year maintenance might be a little high....more like 20 minutes...
Apparently, I'll have to top up the mulch every year or two. The landscaper said two maybe three, 10 litre bags once every year or two. I'm loving it already

Good Morning everyone. Hope your all doing well. I will add my .02 about cooling. Run a 180-195 thermostat, the water has to cycle so it can cool in the rad before re entering the block other wise the stat stays open and becomes a restrictor. Proper pressure rad cap has bit me in the ass as well once, a good 16 lb cap is a must. A shroud is a plus along with a good fan. Fit the largest fan possible in the opening. I run a nylon 90 degree flexalite fan on everything i own, the pull a ton of air at idle and low speed and dont flatten out.

Well we had more than our share this winter, so I'm glad it's them and not us.

To any moderator who feels like answering: what ever happened to the first part of this thread? If somebody would like to know what was said the first few days of existence, well we can't, unless there is another way around it.

If it were not for the good morning thread, this site probably wouldn't have lasted this long.

Good morning all. J-G. I think I'll do the same with the Duster today and maybe go for a couple hour cruise.

Well was a great day but i missed it. lol I spent all day in bed with the flu. Then a couple hours outside on the patio tonight. Now i am feeling better this damn flu left me, although sleep eludes me. Going to be a long night. On the up side. it would appear i found a tunnel ram for my 383... Yea me.... Going to cost plenty due to the dollar taking a dump, but oh well been there before.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good Morning all, another real nice day, a low of +3 overnight, +7 a while ago and going to 24 or more for a high. Funny thing is that they take the temps at he airport where it is cold and windy even on a calm day. If they get 22 in the summer, I live about 10 min. away and you can almost guarantee 25-26 on the thermometer and if you go down on Main street, Moncton the temp goes up to 28 easy, weird thing. In the winter it gets colder out there than it really is.
Had the Dart running yesterday morning until it got warmed up, set the new carb to where it should be and found no water leaks. Shined all the body and under the hood and went for a short cruise last night and everything seems a go. All there is left is to do its yearly grease job on it and shine the wheels.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Going to be rainy this weekend in Southwestern Ontario. Have today off and need to finish my son's fenderwell header. We got the car hauler trailer finished and the boys have used it and say it is great.
Yesterday I went to Varco to get a left hand tap and asked about 8 or 10 inch vernier calipers. They had old stock so I now have a Mitutoyo fine adjust 12 inch caliper for 90 bucks. I can now measure any pushrod AND block heights, I am super happy.
