Re: Good Morning Thread
Aren't the 383 and 440 made from the same block? If they are the intake should work on either, right?

Re: Good Morning Thread
No sorry JG the 383/400 are the low deck "B" motor and the 440 is the tall deck or "RB" raised block motor.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Yup Grumpy has it. Actually the 350, 361, 383, 400 are B blocks, and 1 Year of 383 (I think 1959) 413, 426, 440 are RB's.

Any pictures of the cars at the show.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Sorry no, quite a few Mopars though, Tom from Wasaga Beach came with his Challenger and a buddy with a 73ish? Roadrunner. Lots of A-bodys and a few hemi cars too. For a mixed show there was surprisingly a great showing of Mopars , which is unusual!smoken340 wrote:.Brads70 wrote:Went to a local car show here today. Re: Good Morning Thread
You seem to have a pretty nice aluminum rad, but that fan...I don't know. I wonder if that could be your problem? And to change fans is not always an easy thing, like you said, an electric pusher fan might be a solution.

Re: Good Morning Thread
With that rad and shroud, you should be running a clutch fan.

I tried 4 different fans , currently have a solid 6 blade fan on now. This one.... http://www.amazon.com/Allstar-Performance-ALL30103-6-Blade-Steel/dp/B003BZZ1QOanlauto wrote:I was going to suggest a solid fan as opposed to a flex fan
I bought it locally, it did move the most air of all I tried but just not enough at idle.

It's an add I found for you, don't know if it is for a tall deck or low deck. There was a guy here locally that had a Weiand low deck tunnel ram, I'll search around.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning all, lots of errands to run today. I also have a landscaper coming in and eliminate my front lawn. When he's finished, there will be "0" grass to cut and about 1 hour of maintenance a year

And that's exactly what I'm after. Funny thing is, this was my wife's idea.

Morning.....
Same here, I came home one day and there was a skidsteer chewing up my back yard. My wife decided we need a desert terrain back there, no argument from me..Your estimate on an hour a year maintenance might be a little high....more like 20 minutes...
