Good morning cloudy yuggly kinda day waiting for the rain to show up now. i was going to spray high build today but think I`ll wait and see what tomorrow brings and I will spray the door jams in paint and the back of the doors so I can hang them before the high build. Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning cloudy but 10. Should be cloudy and sunny breaks all day, that works for me. My gosh what a day yesterday. Got the door jams and door sides mostly painted until I ran out. I have a bit of paint left from the trunk and engine bay so I did the jams and door edges so I can hang the doors before I spray high build and block it out. Finished that at noon and started installing the new baseplate on the Jeep. My word the bolt in area is long gone, I did more cutting grinding swearing for 9 hours than usual I have to say. What a joke no wonder this company is frowned on. I still have to finish the job this morning and if it was a properly built part this was and hour or 2 max job. Grrrr. Thieves hit the house on Friday night only got a bike but if I see that bike the rider is going to get more than a new to him bike maybe even a free ride to the hospital. Heres some pics. And sorry no idea why they are all sideways grrr

Re: Good Morning Thread
Hey Reg the paint looks awesome.
Yea for some reason we are having the wildfires of a life time. Over 400 fires burning as of today and 100 are out of control fires.
JG, those pictures aren't sideways, maybe alcohol is involved!
Have a great night guys!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Not as nice here, high of 18 today and wet.
Tried to fix the leak in my transmission and found out the back up switch thread is stripped and the thread in the trans is garbage. Going to try and see if I can install a heli coil in the trans with out removing the trans. ugg
Good day guys

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all. Keith that really sucks, hopefully you can do something without having to pull the transmission.
Weather is pretty nice here today, we are supposed to reach 25 with lots of sun. Woke the Duster up last Sunday. I was amazed that it started without any issues. And considering that it’s been sitting for 3 years, I was amazed. Plans are to take it out for a spin this weekend. But of course everything depends on weather and of course, how I feel.

Dan once you put your foot down I'm sure it will make you feel awesome!
I ordered a new backup light switch and a Heli coil kit for the transmission. I have loosened off the headers and dropped the back of the trans in preparation for the work to be done. Had to remove the shifter and some of the linkage just to make room for the 90 degree drill adapter. Just hoping it goes well!
Have a good day!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning it’s 8 right now but this is the start of a streak of hot weather into the 30`S so they say. Once the pedal goes down the spirits rise Dan!! Got a little plane bombing around this morning spraying invasive moths it kinda cool to see how low they get its also a lot like the crop sprayers. Havent really had any internet for the last 2 weeks but Telus is coming Friday to install fibre lines and we can give haw/rodgers but cold hard boot.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Another beautiful day it’s 25 and sunny again. With this medication that I’ve been taking, I’m feeling a lot better every day. Hoping to get the car out this weekend.
Keith, that sounds like a tough job to do. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that everything goes smooth for you.

Ours should start soon, at our first place. There they had success with lots of cars and prizes...unlike the other place they tried but the crowds were not there.
Nice and sunny today and the first ride of the year upcoming in a few minutes.

My car stalled at a traffic light yesterday and would not restart, then it struck me, remove the air cleaner and it started right up, so a new one is on order.
Sure feels good to ride in my 47 year old car!
