Re: Good Morning Thread
We have some nice mild weather here for today and hopefully the rest of the week.
I've been back on the Cuda and its getting close. Trying to fit the gas pedal with new carpet and full throttle are not in the cards. It's amazing how something so small can assume so much time.
Here is a Dodge 4 dr convertible from Cuba. Note the small 4 bolt wheels. It did have 4 wheel disc brakes and power by a Hyundai 4 cyl Diesel with a 5sp manual trans.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day, kind of a stormy spring few days lately. Quick hitter rain showers down here snow up there that kinda crap. Finished stripping the dark and got it into primer today. I think fingers crossed I am done with body work and will have a second opinion tomorrow. I really dont mind the sanding and filler work but I am anxious to get moving to other parts of this project so we shall see.
Bumper mounts are sanded and ready for primer, man are they ever pitted but thats all I have so clean em up and paint them. I was missing a critical piece of moulding for the top of the fenders to the tailights on the passenger side so I put out a desperate plea for a piece or I was going to have to build one. A whats turning into good friend walked through my shop doors Tuesday with a very nice set! I have to fix a wee dent but am more than capable of that and polishing is no problem so what a freakin relief that was. Hers some pics of a stripped dash.
Have a great evening

Re: Good Morning Thread
Great work Reg. Love the pictures. Doesn't look like your dash has a padded cover. I do prefer the nice smooth look of it.
Nice sunny day here around 7 but it would be nice if it was warmer. Should have the fuel line in the Barracuda tomorrow.
have a great day!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 7 which is unusually cold for this time of year here. Big storm arriving tomorrow rain wind the usual. Thanks guys ya I am happy with how it turned out for rattle can paint. I am so freakin busy this weekend coming I am not sure how much I will get done but body work is mostly done I am sure something will pop up but primer is next. Keith I think this is one of the last years of no padding on the dash I can`t confirm that for sure but I think thats what I was told.

My 76 has padding on top but none on the bottom...and has never been painted.
Weather-wise its a gloomy day with light snow last night and clouds today with temps around 4 to 5 range.

Hi guys - been a few days, dealing with life issues not involving cars...
finally got the Fish out for the final touches - new door handles, locks, window alignment (darned frameless windows) should be cruising in a couple of weeks, really looking forward to this year's cruises and shows!

Re: Good Morning Thread
I'm with you Lyle on can't wait for cruising to begin, I'm still working on the Barracuda but have hopes to have it on the road this June. Interior is real close to being finished but sill have to get my diff back from my buddy as he is putting in a sure grip with the stock 3:23 gears. Tomorrow I hope to have the fuel pump in and mounted and fire up the engine and make sure all is still good. Still waiting on the rear quarter glass window felts to come in to get that finished off.

I got a set of window glass felts from a company in Arizona - all fit except the inside quarter felts - the guy who's working on my car eventually shoe-horned them into the holders, but in the meantime I had contacted the seller (no reply) and Dave Layson. Four hours later Dave emailed me that he had tracked down his original supplier, found out where the dies were, and ordered 50 pairs - so if you need some, let me know, because after all that work I'm still getting a pair from him (should be here in 3 weeks)
Re: Good Morning Thread
Thanks Lyle, I do have mine on order from Rock auto. They were back ordered so if they don't show up I'll let you know.
I believe the part no.'s are VS 7-E/FL and they fit 63 - 66 Dart GT and Barracuda with roll up quarter windows.

Looking good guys I am am bit further away from the cruisin but its getting closer. I spent the weekend getting ready to spray primer next weekend I`ll leave it for a week or so then its red time! She all covered in plastic in the important spots now. Motor is done trans is done the damned upholster is slow but I`ll kick his butt. The Islands Mopar show is late May I am still trying to make that even if the car isnt finished.

Good day all. Looks like I’ll be selling my car and everything else that I have that’s automotive related. My wife doesn’t want me to but I don’t want to leave any problems for her to deal with.
