Dam we are cold today and tons of snow. I think we must have 16 to 18"s on the ground over the last 2 days. This morning was -24 and the same for tomorrow but less snow. It's like a free exercise program just keeping the driveway and all the walks clean of snow!!!

Suppose to be +4 on Saturday just enough to make a huge icy mess of everything!

As everyone mentions, man screwy weather!

Good morning -1 here in Tofino no snow but holy h e double hockey sticks was it a mess coming up here yesterday. That cold air was screaming out of the north right down the Fraser Valley and Howe sound and that means the south end of the Island is the end of the run clashing with moist air from the ocean which makes for some interesting travel conditions. The wind was gusting to over 70 k all Tuesday night into the morning so it was -5 or so when we left no snow to speak of until just north of Duncan then it got nuts. The highway soon became a skating rink and of course the turds who have no idea are boiling along at highway speeds and I said to Di unless they hit me I am not stopping for those idiots and if they do hit me this old grumpy prick is going to swing some lefts because the right has bursitis lol. Once we got to the left turn for the west coast we got out of the north trough and its beautiful drive for 2 hours never had a car in front of us almost the whole way.
Heres couple of picks for those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, the most raw beautiful place on the west coast.

Reg some great pics. Today we were nice and warm compared to last week. Dam near got to +4.

Tomorrow we head out to Cuba for 2 weeks. Going to a an adult only in Varadero.
But this week I made the fuel pump brackets for the Barracuda and have the regulator in and mounted. I ordered new fuel line but never made it here so that will have to be put in when I get back.

Stay warm guys. I'll try and send some pics if the wifi service is half decent.

Evening gents snowed here today again but we are home now and it’s snowing here too. Holidays are supposed to be relaxing …….right? First 3 days were fantastic cold but everything we were hoping it would be. Saturday morning was a bit snowy but nothing bad it came and went and then holy crap. It stopped around 8 at night 32 cm fell we just finished supper and the lights were flickering so let’s get back yo our room and have a drink.. great idea! Just as I poured a drink boom out goes the power ah no biggy it will be on in an hour or so. Off to bed but something was not right my gut felt wierd and I kinda knew something was up or should I say out. 1 AM it started and it was violent never slept a wink finally the last of it was over around 8 AM the power was out still so we decided to make a run foe home. 5 hours of driving in a foot of snow at times icey nothing really clear for 2 1/2 hours. Man I was dying inside but it was our 30 year anniversary so I wasnt going to make anymore of a fuss than I already had all night. Got home got a the luggage and stuff out of the truck a crawled into bed. It was seafood poisoning no doubt I had it once before in Mexico so I know the drill. Today I am weak but great otherwise but that was a gross night and finding the toilet in complete darkness without busting a freaking toe was a victory!!! Have a great holiday Keith and dont eat the seafood …….ugh

Good evening felt like spring today really nice day and warm. Had a really good weekend on the Valiant. Got the driver side metal almost completely stripped to bare metal man thats a lot of sanding wow. Got the fuel tank installed which ZI have been wanting to get done forever but first needed the filler tube grommet and the j bolt. All done but what a painful process that was. Got all the door pins replaced so lots going on, passenger side starts this weekend!!

Good morning, bright sunshine and -1, looks like winter is on its last legs except for a storm coming up Thursday or so. It`s the Dieppe Riverview carnival ringette tournament again and my daughter is still playing and loving it.
Not a whole lot going on this time of year except watching the snow melt. One thing is different though, California has more snow than we have!

Good morning 2 and light rain. Ya JG you guys are getting the late winter out here you can see and hear we have turned the corner. The birds are up at 5-530 now the eagles are up high hunting now and the odd hot rod is out cruising already. I even saw convertible guy this week at 8 AM.
Got to finish stripping the old paint today on the Valiant it’s a dusty messy friken job but it has to be done. Brakes are almost there just need a tightness check and fluids, we are running the motor up on the engine stand as soon as I can ge the right flywheel. I hope to have this in primer next weekend then high build then paint byt the end of the month fingers crossed.

Good morning busy weekend here. Got Val stripped   so now to fade the mud to zero and get primer sprayed. Mowed the lawn for the first time this year and really it should have been done a few weeks ago.

Good morning wow nice weather this week going to be 16 or more today. I have a bit more filler to do on the passenger side then thats done. I may mask off the trunk today get the dash sanded down for primer paint. Tough week emotionally here, we lost my best friends wife to cancer.

Been hanging out in the weeds watching the world go by. Went out on the weekend and bought a 1970 Duster. Was a 6 cyl car now a 340 4 spd / 8.75. No rust, original panels. Red car, original paint under hood and in trunk. Cant remember how to post pics. will keep trying.

Back from Cuba to the cold and crappy weather.

Saw lots of amazing cars that all look great from 50' but a lot of them are really rough.
There was a Chrysler Saratoga 4 dr convertible that was really basterized with poor body work but boy was that guy proud of his car. It had a 5sp manual trans with a Hyundai diesel 4 cylinder. He was willing to take for a ride for free to show me the car. I did pay for a trip down to the marina with him.
I'll have to get some pics off my phone and post a few.

Good evening a little rain last night but a nice sunny cold day. That damn north wind again it can go away anytime it likes. Saturday was a waist of a day off didnt really get much accomplished, Sunday got the dash stripped to bare metal and finished the rockers so just a bit of finishing touches to the filler and then primer.

I guess the above O weather is around for a few days but a little snow is not far. We have a pretty mild winter compared to the last ones but tornados in the states are not uncommon.
