Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 4 and clear so should be a nice day at least thats what I am going with. Looking good there Keith almost buckle up time. I have to replace the Sirius xm antenna on Dianes car today who knew they went bad only 2 years old. Going to get the Valiant prepped for paint underneath today, maybe spray some black on the springs and axles so I can get that taped off before separating the bottom side.
Have a great day

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 6 and it will be clear once the surface fog clear but theres a week of rain or at least showers ahead so they say starting this afternoon/evening. Got the rest of the rust converter on the under belly yesterday, I think today I will start stripping the engine bay of paint. The rest of the car I will be stripping the car with a r/o sander but I am using aircraft stripper in the engine compartment because of all the irregular bends and stuff.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning. Nice day here with a high of 19.
JG, I have one of my grand kids pop over to help with the changing out of the winter tires. Of course his car gets tires switched as well. I have tire storage racks but they are close to the ceiling so I need help getting the tires down and that’s his job.
I’ll have more car pics tomorrow I hope.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon, the day started off nice but the showers have rolled in. I got all the snow tires changed yesterday. Keith, I’m lucky my tires are stored at ground level , problem is I wind up storing more than my own. I didn’t get the car out yesterday and now it’s looking like it won’t be driven until September, if at all. We bought all new appliances for our renovation but because of supply issues I took the last set that they had in inventory. But I don’t need them before the middle to end of September. So they are stored in my garage in front of the Duster.
Keith everything is looking good, keep up the good job.
Have a good day.

Reg, where I live they are called an insurance discount. They came with the car when new, so they didn’t cost me anything and I save on insurance by using them.Ragtacker wrote:What exactly are these tires you guys are talking about?

Nice day here today, I think a high of 17.
Lyle, my pillar molding covers were broken in the same place. I use lepage's 24 hour marine epoxy and find it works fairly well.
Looks like you have your reapired nicely.
Have a great day all.

JG, I have never used that wax before. I have heard good things about it though! Let us know how it works out.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon. 15 and sunny today although the wind has a little bite to it. I guess living a block from the cold lake doesn't help.
JG, I've never used that wax so I am no help either. Hell I can't even remember the last time that I washed my Duster, may'be 3 or 4 years ago.
Keith, your doing a fine job, she's really looking good.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day guys. Decent day here cloudy but 18 out.
I have received my new door locks and just have to get them to fit. They don't make 65 down locks so I had to get 66 up lock set and modify my doors to fit the new style locks. I think the ignition switch should swap over ok. I bought all 3 locks so the key would be the same.
Good day!

Good day,
My D. Sport has been started up for this coming season and the grass is all green, now lets hope the sun will stick around for a while too.
