Re: Good Morning Thread
Sure I`ll do that Dan. Good morning 5 but it feels like 0. Yesterday the temp said 8 but my personal temp gauge called bs. The wind is coming from the north again and thats never good, it snowed 10 minutes up the road overnight so February isn`t done with us yet.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, Reg, I felt the same yesterday. They say we hit 8c but it sure didn’t feel like it . I’m only one block from the lake so the winds made it feel chilly. Sun and plus 6 today but it probably won’t feel like it.

Re: Good Morning Thread
We have a about the same weather here, a high of 6 but possibly more snow tonight.
I've been working on my sister-in-law's diesel jeep gc and the tank has a real slow leak and dam I have the biggest headache I think I ever have had. Did struts and lower ball joints and now have to replace the oil sender if I can find where it is! They do little to no maintenance on this thing I'm amazed it made it 388,000km.
Have a good day guys!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day guys, I just found out my headaches that I have been having turned out to be shingles and I thought it was the dam diesel fuel!
Yesterday I had blisters all over the back of my head and ears. I thought it was strange to have a headache like that to last that long, I very rarely get headaches. The dam blisters burn and gives me a pulsing headache. I guess I'll be taking it easy for a bit.
Have a great Saturday!

Keith go see your MD right away - there's an antiviral Rx that will help minimize the symptoms - I think it's called Acyclovir (tried to check my Rx records but the site was down) - sooner the better
Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning although its not that good for Keith. Make sure you get professional help for that as it can turn bad on a person.
Otherwise we have above 0 temps and partly sunny. Seems as a descent day for a bit of fresh air.

Good morning 5 looks like it rained like heck overnight. Went out for dinner to the Keg last night for our anniversary thats the first time we have been out for dinner in well over a year. They have it set up very well I have to say and a great meal as usual. Keith thats a real or can be a real ass kicker hope it goes sooner than later for ya. Bought an outdoor fireplace yesterday its used but not very much so am going to have a nice little fire and maybe a glass of coolaid if the rain holds off.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Keith, that really sucks. I’ve never experienced this before but I have a close friend who had shingles and he had it for almost 2 years. It affects everyone different so really need to see a Doctor ASAP.
Another mild day today all be it cloudy with a few showers.
Reg, have fun. Just make sure that you’re not drinking the Jim Jones kool aid.

Good morning, gee Reg that looks like a pro did it Furthermore Reg you are sitting at +10 or so and I am freezing my... off at -15 and that is not counting the wind chill which is very present today but besides that all is relatively ok.
Have a good day and be good to others...maybe even wear your mask.

Good morning, man this time of year is weird. Yesterday we were freezing and today the sun is shining and it's +7. Another few days and I'll be starting the Duster up for the first time since October. Have a good day and stay safe.

Lyle, that is the exact drug I was prescribed. Dam I thought the headache was bad before, it's really bad for the last couple of days. The Doc said I might get some burning as well but it is very slight.
The Jeep I've been working with the leaky fuel tank is going to have to wait until I get better, then I will install the new (actually used) fuel tank. I have a large drip pail under it to keep the diesel off the floor for now.
On the plus side it's around 11 outside today and I think it's the same for tomorrow.
Have a great day guys!
