Ya JG I am a Mexico veteran so we’ll aware of the food etc issues. I had let my guard down and knew immediately it was going to be an intense few hours which it was but I have to say taking ducolor before leaving lessened my issues. It happens to the most seasoned travellers as I proved damnit.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Supposed to get real cold tonight, down to -18 and windy. My sister just returned from a safari someplace in Africa, that's the problem with going somewhere warm, when you return the cold feels worse.

Turn out the lights the party`s over they say all good things must end and it sure as heck will in about 15 hours I`ll be tucked in my own bed. 3 0r so hours on the beach and its off to the airport for the trip home. I guess I`ll use the plane ride to figure out some winter projects the first is going to be replacing the wiper pivot seals before anything else gets done.
Anyway have a great day

Re: Good Morning Thread
Hi, good evening, Thursday morning it should be -14 and feel like -24, with a high of -11...and they call this early winter but it's more like end of January weather.
CUBA, MEXICO or any place warm sounds good to me. Anybody have some spare money...I sure don't.

Good, sunny, bright but cold morning, almost 10:30 and about -13 and shooting for a high of -11. Tomorrow should be a bit warmer and temps above 0 for most of next week.
Have a great day, TGIF is coming.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning cold wet dark foggy need I go on. We had a great holiday, we went with our next door neighbours who are celebrating their 40th anniversary and we were celebrating our 25th. Great holiday I would go there again in a heart beat, really good food(except for the shrimp fettuchini) top notch drinks and the service left us wanting for nothing. Well now its time for the Christmas push theres always some dough head that waits till the last minute for the absolutely must have piece reupholstered before Santa arrives which means the employee of the year will get a nice bonus! Well gotta go and ease back to reality lol.
Have a great day

''Mike sounds like you getting hit hard with bad weather just like JG is.. That's what we had last year.''
It so happens we are sharing the same weather system this time around, he has the northern part of the system and we have the southern part. Most of the time our systems come from the New England states.
Good morning, sunny, bright, cold, white and TGIF, -12 right now. Warming up Sunday to Thursday I think so might see the grass again.
Is Reg back yet?
Have a great day to one and all.

Darn thing with work, it is not often enough that it is pleasant...unless you get lucky. It is not often enough that we get paid for doing something we LOVE.

JG I love what I do surprisingly enough. I have always said this is a great job and if it wasn`t for the customers it would be the best.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 5 with a special weather alert for the next 3 days which consists of wind(lots) rain(lots and lots) and cool temps. I would say Kieth will need his snow shovel lots by the time it gets to Cowtown. Well its Grey Cup Sunday and will watch it but its sure lost its shine over the years. We haven`t been invited to a party have not even heard of anyone hosting a party this year so we are staying in cooking a pot roast with all the trimmings and staying warm. Back to work tomorrow I`m sure this will be a busy week with all my designers and their customers wanting work done before Christmas and all the car guys wanting to get their foot in the door so I can get to them in the new year.
Have a great day
