Seems to warming up a wee bit at nights, its 8 now and maybe 10-12 but its going to be rainy for a few days but thats good because it will wash all the salt brine away. Saw a 63 split window and a 56 Chev out yesterday that gets the old driving the Dart blood bubbling.

Good morning, -6 at the moment with a high of -2, if this is to be our storm well somebody lied...but the heavier snow will start around noon, they are calling for 15-20 cm but my prediction is around 10 cm so we'll see, just a light dusting falling at the moment.

Good morning, well our great snow storm was not that bad, at least in our corner. Reg I think your brother in NS got it worst than us. All we got was about 10-15 cm of light white fluffy snow with hardly any wind to blow it around. This morning it was -3 and now -1, did not see the sun yet.

Good morning all, -3 here with no chance of snow. Just came back from the vets, friggen dogs prescription is $90 a month, for 30 pills. Should have been an animal doctor.

You are right JG, the clouds don’t give out a lot of energy, but the temperatures are above zero. Spring is in the air.

Good morning 4 and oh wait rain for a change. Big winds yesterday they were getting 30 foot waves up island should be awesome beach combing maybe tomorrow once it all settles down to a mild roar. Well my not working Friday`s is yet another bust today.

Not even you guys are having the winter that you should be. Our snowfalls have been worse than yours. So I believe spring will be early this year.

Good morning, we had some very light snow falling this morning but it seems to have just stopped. We are at 0 but woke to -3, high of 2 and maybe even showers, the weather seems to change too often.

Good morning 5 and the big ol storm is on its way. Flashlight check genrator check propane in the bbq check bring it on! 100 k wind and unbeleivable amounts of rain in the next 24 hours. We are just above freezing here but not far away from here like less than a thousand feet in altitude big time snow is coming. Phil Collins bring your sled out here the mountains are getting up to a meter yes a meter of snow in the next 24 hours.

been home since Tuesday, had to place and finish some concrete on Monday at duplex the boss owns and will be renting out. We couldn't get anyone to do it so I had to do it with one of our guys and two useless temp labourers. Concrete started flashing on us way sooner than it should have so I had to get on my hands and knees to work an area with a hand trowel and adding water. Had gloves on and gum boots and sweat pants but the slurry went through the pants and I ended up getting really bad chemical burns to the knees and left shin. Both knees swelled up and since Tuesday haven't been able to stand up as the knee joints were just throbbing and non stop steady burning. Finally have a little relief this morning but still bad. Not as much rain as they were calling for and I hope we don't lose power later with winds that are expected.

Good morning 9 and one hell of a storm hitting now. Highest wind gust is 120 on one of the gulf islands, here in Victoria it think around 80 is our biggest gust so far but this ain`t going away anytime soon. Theres 25000 without power here right now and that will go up for sure. The ski hills are closed here on the Island ya to MUCH snow almost a meter in the last day. I think this is a good day to paint the Darts interior roof trim and watch some football maybe a beer or two and enjoy the day.
