Re: Good Morning Thread
I would think that you would want to know your hp.Ragtacker wrote:Good morning 4 with showers I think I heard. At our car club meeting last night we had a visit from a fellow who has just bought and installed a new dyno in his shop so I think the club will do a day session and run the cars through. Not sure I am interested or not we will see in the new year but we have one fella in the club saying he has over 700 hp so I sure as heck want to see that!
Have a great day

No not really its around 300 little more little less don`t much care. I want a stroker in the future, may build one may just buy a crate(more likely) then I will want to know. My set up right now is a nice cruising pkg but not a 1/4 mile monster by any stretch.

I can understand. I myself could care less about my hp. because I, want to put the stock, numbers matching engine back in mine. I don't do the track anyway.

I don't even do traffic lights, too dawn expensive to replace prematurely worn tires but 3.55 gears sure are fun but make a difference on gas milleage too.

I really don't beat up on my car either, with the engine and transmission modified as well as the 3:55s, gas mileage already sucks.
I love going fast, (read well over posted speed limit) I just take my time getting there.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning again...it's raining out, was 6 this morning and by 5:00 it will be close to -1, so we might get a few flakes when it cools off enough, it is not a good day to do work outside, I am glad we got all our snow tires on in time before this wet weather. Now I can concentrate on getting the Dart and the lawn tractor ready for sleep.
Have a great day all.

Good morning, no rain no sun either right now. Woke up to -2 today and it's a whopping -1 now. More prep on useful motorized toys today. Weather permitting of course. Christmas decorations won't be too long...before it really freezes.
Have a great day.

Reg, you better do it before you need a passport
We have a member here,( Cley Sametts) who is also a Facebook Duster member who is advocating that the 4 western provinces, separate from the rest of the freeloaders, in Canada, so the west can start to prosper. (his words not mine.)

Dan thats been the talk as long as I can remember and theres alot who agree especially when you look at the equalization payments and how they seem to go in bulk to one province. Not saying as I agree or disagree at least on a semi public forum as thats one of my rules I follow just like talking about religion lol

That's the first time I hear of that and even if we are likely the recipients of at least some of the western leftovers I think that is a very bad idea, in my opinion the recipients would be NFLD, NB and PEI in that order although we could very well be #1.

Re: Good Morning Thread
I absolutely agree with you about avoiding the discussion on a public form. It just burns my ass when people try to break up a country. We in what you guys consider the east, have no more control on how the Government distributes funds. But because some people think that it's unfair, they want to take their ball and go home. I've lived in 4 different provinces, Alberta, Sask, Ont, and Quebec and they all have their own issues, that has squat to do with any other province.
Anyway that's the last that you will here from me on this Rant......
