Re: Good Morning Thread
Wasn't able to pull the trigger on anything at the auction again today. But sure did see some nice classics.

A lot of the time auctions like this are for people who have money to burn, there are no fires down this way...not even smoke.
I wonder how it feels though.

Re: Good Morning Thread
nice little car show yesterday - about 100 cars, Oompah band, pretty good food, lots of prizes, $5 food ticket - and it was free!
Re: Good Morning Thread
Morning all, nice and sunny for the start of the day, now 8 and a high of 16.
Dan people either really didn't need to sell badly or maybe just hopeful to get good bucks for there car. We had an auction here back in the middle of Sep and it sounds about the same kind of pricing, my buddy walked away with nothing but he was after any nice A body Mopar.
Might even get some work done on the 65 today...
Sounds like a good car show Lyle, especially free, the best part...

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning but it is almost 4:30 in the afternoon, it has been a mostly cloudy day, 13 last night, high of 18, now 13 and getting cooler tonight...5 or something like that.
This morning I did the front breaks on my Kia, this afternoon it was front breaks on my sister's Toyota along with engine air filter and cabin air filter. Toyota wanted $368.00 to do this, the parts cost me under $70. Toyota is a good car but having work done at the dealership is just about insane.
Have a great day all.

Good morning, already 10 today and a high of 15 with mostly sun although it is cloudy at the moment but I see the skies breaking up in the distance...seems to me cruising would not be a bad thing. Same for tomorrow but even warmer.
Have a great Mopar day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning all, a tad cooler today with a high of 12.
Great news about the knee Lyle. I'm sure the clutch with keep the knee strong!
Worked on the Barracuda yesterday and have now a working E brake with the wilwood setup. I ended up using new stock cables and making them fit with a bit of cutting and welding. The biggest problem was getting the cable to work with my frame connectors...

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, what a beautiful day it was today. Had to take the car out for what was supposed to be a 1/2 drive, but it was so nice it turned into a few hour cruise. Calling for the same weather here for the next few days. Enjoy whats left of your day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Enjoy boys we are getting slammed again Friday and Saturday, another wind and rain storm. Get this, we have many lighthouses up the coast of the island but one is at Effingham Point which is the west coast about 2 1/2 hours from here. They registered 515 mm of rain in 24 hours yesterday...half a meter or in english like 20 inches or so. The really cool thing(not really) it was also sideways with the wind gusting to 90k.
Hope its sunny for you again tomorrow
Cheers

Good morning, sunny again and 14, no sign of cooling off just yet. Mothers instant detailer is the best one I've seen yet. I used it on my Dart Sport, my Kia, my wife's Jeep, and even on my son's Mazda 3.
Have a great TGIF.
