It was right behind Canadian tire wasn`t it? Real good place. Daughter & wife had work done there.philcollins wrote:JGL wrote:Last time we heard of philcollins it was Sunday evening. Wonder where he is. Could be working inside his garage and preparing for the long gloomy season.
HI, was not working on my garage. Had a dental surgury, "bone graft", not far from your place, in Dieppe. Feeling well now.

Exactly. the dentist, himself, even call me the day after, just to be sure everything was ok.

He is the only dentist I ever heard checking up on his patients. You are not the first one I hear this from. Almost sounds too different but very reassuring too.philcollins wrote:Exactly. the dentist, himself, even call me the day after, just to be sure everything was ok.

Good morning, cloudy and gloomy day...may get some rain later but especially Saturday. We are experiencing a southern flow right now so it is much warmer than I thought. I looked at the thermometer after I went out for a minute and it was warmer than it looked. It's 10 already but looked like 2 so I dressed for 2...surprise!!! Going up to 16 sometime today. We should get soaked tomorrow but not as much as some sections about an hour away.

Hey Reg age is not nice to our bodies. It's the hard way to find out that we are not 20 or 30 anymore.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 7 and some rain on its way. Hope I can get the Dart home from the garage in between rain drops. Sent her in to get the brakes power bled and of course theres more. A rear axle seal was leaking so thats why shes back in there and then found the bearing was shot so ordered that but living on an Island freight has a Habit of missing its ride and the bearing took three days to find a ride so now its Saturday morning and the fellow who owns the shop is coming in today a day hes not open to give me the car because it was raining yesterday and he did not want me to pick it up and get it wet and dirty. Thoughtful guy. So after all my brake issues it seems that the master cylinder that was on the car when I bought it is a drum disk master and the car has drum drum. It was after I had the original booster and master re manufactured at John Stuart that it was determined the master was disk drum so the solution I have been told is to install residual valves to hold ten pounds pressure to off set the loss of pressure in the lines. Funny eh I was thinking yesterday I think I have spent more on brake fluid than gas this year. Onto the winter projects!
Have a great day

Re: Good Morning Thread
Reg was the axle seal leaking? If so make sure your rear end vent is not clogged or replaced with a solid bolt like mine was and making the rear end oil take the easiest way out usually bypassing the seal.

Good morning to one and all, it's kind of a crappy day out. It has rained and will rain some more but the temp was 14 at 9:00 and is now 18. The max should be around 20 with a humidex of 29.
Dan its like this...I am like a good aged bottle of wine at $50.00 and your like the $18.95 stuff

Good day all. Just got back from Michigan, got my numbers matching engine and build sheet as well. Got nailed at the border for $100. customs and duties. Had the guy make me a bill of sale for $550. and as my luck would have it, I got a car guy for a customs officer and he looked at me Like I Had Horns Growing Out Of My Head, and asked me where in the hell did I find a 340 so cheap. Took awhile, but I finally convinced him it was on the up and up.

JG. Have you ever noticed that most people pick up the cheap stuff, as it gets you just as drunk as expensive stuff at half the price.
Besides the $50.00 stuff needs a required taste, that 90% of the population just don't have.
