It is definitely not a Cherokee, I know the one you mean, it is probably in one of Keith's Mopar babes.smoken340 wrote:JGL wrote:That's the Cherokee series isn't it?smoken340 wrote:My daughter bought the, Sahara Unlimited. Seems to be very nice.
I'm not sure, but its the one that you can remove the doors and roof from, then all you see is a roll bar.

Good morning all, it's going to be another hot and very humid day today. Going to be in the mid 40s. They say no relief until Sunday. JG, that is the type that my daughter bought.

Good morning, 20 plus and no sun, not humid yet but later probably, wet all next week...which we need but things can change. Yeah Keith has been away long enough, his two weeks should be over and getting back to Jeep country!

Good morning everyone, cloudy but no rain or drizzle at the moment, had rain last night and maybe drizzle this afternoon but we need it bad. Lawns are starting to turn brown and NO campfires or anything of the sort allowed...too dry! Only 18 this morning and only going up to 26-7.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Well Reg I understand why your brother is drilling deeper, NS weather is usually a little wetter than us but there are some dry areas and if he is in one of those, water does scarce in late Fall or Winter, so if they had a dry Spring things could get hairy(rationing water is no fun).

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, today is our turn to get rained on and it is only 15, jeans time instead of shorts (not good). Tomorrow is Acadian Day...always August 15, BIG party and old customs, ranging from the food to the clothing some people wear. There are over 1 million Acadians all over the world.
Anlauto is of Acadian heritage but I am fairly sure he does not celebrate in any way. Quite a few Ontarians, Quebecers and Albertans have some Acadian heritage but some don't even know it. Roots run deep. There are usually Acadians in all Canadian provinces.
For example Therrien means ''of the earth'' and at first could have been ''Terrien'' or something resembling it. So Dan might have some Acadian roots if he digs far back enough. Enough for todays history lesson.
Have a Great day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, a little cooler this am but still going to be another scorcher. Torque Masters car show today but I am not going, too much going on this coming week. Getting the driveway paved where the Dart lives so have to get it all prepped for that and bought a new truck so have to get the hitch and everything else out of my present one before delivery of the new one happens. Still no bloody brakes so there is that too.
Have a great day

Good luck with everything that is going on and it has been proven that brakes are useful and usually necessary.Ragtacker wrote: Getting the driveway paved where the Dart lives so have to get it all prepped for that and bought a new truck so have to get the hitch and everything else out of my present one before delivery of the new one happens. JG, I'm an half breed native. My fathers side of the family are from the Huron tribes. However my mothers from side is from England. I'm not even sure what an Acadian is.

Dan I got a 3500 Laramie Dually. We had a 3500 srw Silverado but we were over on the weights by 1500 pounds so time to get legal and with a monster trip coming in 2018 the time was right.

Re: Good Morning Thread
We are the first settlers that came over from France back around 1650 and it so happens the LeBlanc's were the biggest family but certainly not the only one. You can google ''Acadian or Acadians'' and find out more including how the English deported us, those who came back and those that had help from the natives to hide from the ''Redcoats'' as they called them.smoken340 wrote:JG, I'm an half breed native. Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, 19 at 10:15 but cloudy all day supposedly and hopefully no showers for tonight's big party! It's a celebration day for us Acadians worldwide. After the 1700s the English and French were having heated discussions about what to do with us Acadians. We have been deported in 1755 but are still here...loud and proud. Here are a few places we Acadians are at: Several Canadian provinces but specially the Maritimes, Eastern US states, Louisiana and surroundings, Jamaica, Africa and many more, for a grand total of over 1 million.
Have a great day all!
