Gotta love March Break with young kids !....
Alan, I did that Aquarium, last year. Very Very Expensive.
I agree...family of four...not a picnic....but to my surprise, it was actually better then I thought it was....You get a pretty close up look at sharks and stingrays....something you can't do everyday....
You want to talk about expensive....after lunch we went up the CN Tower....$135 for the elevator ride (4 of us)
Re: Good Morning Thread
You didn`t stand on that stupid glass floor did you? No chance you ever get me on that thing as opposed to my wife who jumps out of perfectly good airplanes and stood on that floor and loved it.

The aquarium is a really neat experience, but a little pricey. I went up the tower when it was first opened, haven't been back since. My daughter did the ledge walk last year and she loved it.
Ragtracker, my daughter, is exactly the same as your wife, she jumps out of planes, bungy jumps and all kinds of stuff that would make me soil my pants.

Hard to believe that some people are afraid of that glass floor, that thing has been there for how many years? My wife did not like it either but I liked it and so did the kids, many years ago..

Good morning people, a cloudy day today, rain in the forecast for later. They are calling for snow Thursday or Friday so I put off my idea of changing tires for now.
Have a good day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
J-G, It's not the glass floor so much as it is heights. I can't go up an elevator, when I can see where I'm going, because I have a phobia of heights. When I went up the CN Tower, I had to face the wall and not look down. I can't even go on a Ferris wheel. My Doctor gave me some meds, so I will be able to board the plane, when I go to Vegas.JGL wrote:Hard to believe that some people are afraid of that glass floor, that thing has been there for how many years? That is definitely not a good thing. I know people have certain phobias as my oldest sister hates to go down escalators, like in malls, she rather use their time consuming elevators.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 4 this AM warming to 8-10 and showers for the day. Should start getting nicer as we get towards the weekend.
Dan there is absolutely nothing wrong with terra firma and keeping your feet firmly planted on it. They can put whatever name beside the dislike of heights they want but I call it sensible. I love to fly but since my concussion a two step ladder is pretty scary, I have no real sense of balance so the kids get to do all the high crap now.'
Have a great day

Good morning all, bright sunny start to the day, but supposed to cloud over and start raining around noon. Temps are supposed to drop to normal starting tomorrow. But for today we will reach +10. Enjoy the day my friends.

Cut the grass in the back today after work, didn't want to sit in the house and look at all your ugly mugs so I enjoyed what little sun we are going to have.

I was going to have a glass of something on the deck after work but that bloody north wind was blowing so unless you were in the sun and out of the wind it was chilly
