Good morning, went to a car show Sunday but forgot my camera home. Some cloud cover with sunny breaks and a lot cooler. Skunks dug up part of my lawn last night looking for grubs and worms(fall and spring ritual), makes for a grub free lawn...not the cleanest way though.

Say good morning to another sunny day in Dieppe N.B. Not much going on, errands this afternoon, usual 30 min. walk this morning. Oh yeah getting new headlights for the Dart and building a consul with cup holders...between now and spring.

Years of alcohol abuse took its toll. He had a stroke the night before went undetected and then a heart attack friday morning and fell down the stairs.

Thank you for the wished everyone. I have to go home again today, will be 4 trips this week. Funeral is Tuesday. I am so grateful i sobered up 21 years ago. I got a second chance at a good life, my dad never took that chance .

Sounds like a hard luck story, one which unfortunately happens too often.

Hello everyone, finally time to write in, nothing bad happened just been kind of busy with all kinds of stuff. One of the things that has been keeping me away from here is that we are going on an organized trip to Louisiana again, did the same trip 5 years ago. The date we are leaving is October 5th and coming back on the 14th.
Had a family corn boil last night at my sister-law's place.
Over the weekend my son and I washed my Kia Forte and this morning I waxed it and buffed it to get it ready for next season.
Watched part of the eclipse last night--we are in the part of the country where it started around 11:07 like the forecasters were saying.

21 years for Grumpy...right on!

Good morning all, hope all is good with Dan, haven't heard from him since sept. 15.That is not like him. I wonder what happened. Sun and cloud mix, rain starting this afternoon or evening, it's a system coming from the new England states.
Beside that, things are back to normal...I think.
Have a good day all and don't work too hard just hard enough.

Good Morning everyone. we laid Dad to rest yesterday. The service was great the plot is beautiful, next to a water fountain. Said goodbye to my Father and now just need to be there for my Mother. Hope everyone is doing well.
