Hello working guy. Sheldon's fun is going to begin, putting all that new or reconditioned stuff on a n old car that is in close to new condition...but watch that new paint, it's not that hard yet.

Yeah for the first while i will be installing new gas tank and fuel lines etc. Be staying off the new paint for a while. May just rope off the car in the garage and worship it for a month. HAHAHAHA.

Did you realise that the new type paint the body shops use now is as hard when the car leaves as it will ever be unless you chose something super special.
Did you go with clear coat or old school?

It was a base clear. but it isnt the new water based crap they are using.

Good Saturday morning all, nice sunny skies overhead and 12 going to14, should be good cruising weather, maybe a couple days next week too and then put the car away til next year. There is also the console project to at least start this fall with pics for Keith and the rest of the crew.

Too cold today, I don't run heater hoses in mine, I just bypass the whole system, makes for less leak possibility.
Licence plates expire on the 12th, still a little hope left.

Ok i like to drive my cars till late in the fall so i keep a working heater in all of them.

Hey Sheldon, don't forget to post pictures of her before the build starts.
I also like keeping the heater hooked up in my cars, it allows you to drive later in the season and it also allows for cooler water temps in the engine.
J-G, you know, I figured you being an east coaster, anything above 0" Celsius is summer to you. I always thought the motto for any down east is " IF IT'S NOT SNOWING THEN IT'S GOT TO BE SUMMER.
