Re: 71 duster build
They should hold it up pretty good. What are you going to be using for shocks ?
Did they make up a stencil for the lettering on your differential.

Re: 71 duster build
I bought a set of HD. springs for mine, and I was thinking about using coil over shocks, so the arch remains for awhile. I just hope it doesn't make for to hard of a ride. I bought a new set of coil overs for my 2000 Dakota, and the shocks appear to be the same length as the Duster.
Do you have any good pictures of your car ?

Re: 71 duster build
Well i got out in the garage this afternoon and managed to get half the floor of the duster completed in chassis coat. I like this product, goes on nice good coverage. Hope to find another nice afternoon, looking like Sunday and i will finish it off. Then learn how to mix paint and give my hand a try at shooting paint? Just the rear wheel tubs and trunk for now, engine compartment once i drop the front K member off.

Got the rest of the chassis coat done today, will touch up paint on frame connectors, then get the rest of the car ready to be a roller.

Re: 71 duster build
Spent the day in the garage today. Got the front K member and suspension on the ground. Need to do some cleaning, mix up some paint in the spray gun and get it all painted then assemble all new parts. Make the car a roller then drop it off for body and paint.

Re: 71 duster build
I got it all out in a few hours this afternoon. My car only has 20,000 miles on it so it came apart pretty nice. Loosen everything off, my buddy borrowed me a torsion bar removal tool that went first, then the steering coupler, brake lines then shocks and upper control arms. I took the brakes off the k member still attached to the upper control arms. Then dropped the k member down.

Re: 71 duster build
I had a guy email me last week saying he had one (since I was looking for you) but I was a little suspect due to stating that it would fit 383, 400 and 440's.
