Well the car is now a roller after a year up on stands. All new brake lines, master cylinder, line loc and proportioning valve are all installed. All new steering components and brakes all four corners. Waiting for baody shop guys to come give me a quote then its off to them for a few months.

Got a call from the body shop today. the car has been painted twice, no surprise there. But the doors are off the trunk lid is in primer and the car is in bare metal. NO RUST ANYWHERE. LOL ... Will be drilling and gluing studs in hood scoop tonight, then drill holes in hood etc mount scoop and haul it off to body shop.

Re: 71 duster build
Yes not the task of rebuilding it. This is going to be time consuming. I hate working on cars with new paint.

Have you decided what size carbs you're going to run if you're still going with the tunnel ram intake?

Re: 71 duster build
Well i need to go buy a camera now. lol i got rid of the I phone, and my work phone doesnt save the pictures in a Jpeg format.
I started to wipe everything down under the car, started to repaint things that were covered in over spray. Was out polishing the chrome door handles and mirrors etc. Figured out where to mount the fuel pump under the car etc. will get things rolling here soon, once everything is pretty under the car again, parts can start going on. Will be ordering carpet and trunk mat soon too.

Well underneath is all clean and painted again. Mount the gas tank next and figure out where to put electric pump etc. Run fuel line etc.
Pictures coming JG As soon as the new camera shows up.
