Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning I dfon`t know -11 or so got 3 inches of snow last night. One of the Kids coming to shovel sidewalk today and probably get more food from mom lol. Did a bit of tapping on the stainless trim for the 65 yesterday. Of course this piece is right ontop of the rear fender so it has to be as perfect as I can get it and also of course its kinda banged up but I love a challenge.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Dam we have it cold here, was -28 when I got up this morning.
We didn't get as much snow as you Reg but around 2". It's even to cold to wonder out in the garage as the tools take a long time to warm up.
Glad to see you can get some work done Reg!
Keep safe and stay warm.

Hello got out of bed and everything outside had a fresh white blanket of about 2-3 inches.
I guess the world jr hockey tournament has been cancelled due to too many Covid cases...at least that is what my son said and if somebody knows hockey stuff it is him.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Well the first post was a bust so try again. The Internet is absolute garbage here today so everything is screwed up. We got another 5 or 6. Inches of snow last night but that may be it for this run of garbage weather. I have been doing a bit of tapping and shaping on the mouldings for the 65. Alot of it will need minor work but theres some like this piece that are badly bent up. I did not have any tools to do this so improvise with what ya got eh. 2 flat blade screw drivers of differing sizes a miniature clevis a phillips 1/4 inch drive bit and a piece of flat sheet metal and an old upholstery hammer I got from somewhere. It was tough to get the sharp edges back because they were crushed but I used the flat blades to drive a new edge in them. I sanded down some with assorted wetdry sandpaper up to 1500 and now once my polishing supplies arrive I can make it sparkle.

Good day all. We had a some what mild day today. Well at least a lot milder then the west coast. We hit a high of 4 and it's supposed to go up by a couple of degrees the next two days.
Reg, your doing a fine job, once you get enough practice, I'll send a couple of pieces to you to finish for me. lol

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning -9 ish with the wind chill but clear as a bell out there it looks like. Happy do do anything you need Dan just don`t be in a hurry lol. Cookie who ever it is he needs to get his shop cleaned up! Got nothing done yesterday except de Christmas the humble abode in the morning and was too tired to do anything but watch college ball in the afternoon. That #@$%^ing ups has my stuff but apparently we had snow so thats now referred to as extreme weather and nothing was being delivered which as I told the dispatcher was f`n BS seeing as how my Purolator guy stopped in on his route today to say hi and see how I was doing then proceeded to help Di finish shoveling the driveway. I have a no ups rule with all my suppliers now I just found one more that I need to update. So clear today rain and or snow tomorrow then its over for this round of winter but that February month usually has a surprise so we shall see.

Reg parts are looking great. I spent hours working on my trim and it's a long tedious job but great satisfaction when you get one little dent out!
Dam cold here today, was -28 this morning when I got up. Won't being working in the garage today!
Happy New Years to all!!!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Another messy day, cloudy and light drizzle earlier so we got our Christmas decorations down before it cools off, because freezing rain and snow are forecast for later.
Went for supper at my wife's sister yesterday evening.
Now all we need is spring weather...ha, ha.

Good morning 3 or 4 and snow or rain depending on the hour or location. Looks like more snow coming this week but not the frigid temps.

Good day all. Dam cold here, I woke up to -27 with light snow. Went out and shoveled now having a nice coffee.
I've been working on the Barracuda wiring harness. After plugging it all in all I have working is low beams and it cranks over. Going to trouble shoot it but being this cold out even the tools don't warm up much.
JG, we are taking our Christmas decorations down today since I can't do much else!
Stay healthy!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon , woke up to -12 this morning and we got up to a balmy -6 with cloud.
Keith, I took our tree and interior decorations down, the day after boxing day. And I stopped turning on the front lights at the same time. But my backyard is still decorated because of our skating rink.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
