Good morning 7 and we have a wind warning out for that weather system that hit Cali and Oregon. The storm is now tracking north we wont get much of it at all bit of rain some wind meh just another day on the coast.

Been raining everyday and lots more to come until the end of Jan. I've had enough of the lower mainland living.
Would like to get a new canopy for my truck but looking at the prices it's just shameful what these dealers are asking.
The wifey and I have both been sick the last week and all this rain just adds to the feel like shit feeling.

Evening gents was a brilliant day today. Might have been 12 or so brilliant sun but thats about to change as Cookie says. Bought the wiring for the Valiant today twice the cost of what I paid for the Dart wiring… just crazy prices. Once the 46 truck is done that will be it for this guy I wont be able to afford another build sadly.

it is a cold one on the thermometer but there is no wind which gives us a break before we get snow friday morning and rain for most of the day after that.

No more eating out for a while - stopped at one of our favourite restaurants for breakfast today - steak & eggs, couple of tomato slices, coffee, tip - $32.00!!!!

Good day all. Weather is really weird this year. Temperature is above normal and we are getting rain. Lyle, did that steak 🥩 come from a gold plated cow ? We have a tradition in my house, that on New Year’s Eve, we have Chinese takeout. We always buy the same thing and the food always runs around $70. This year however it came to just over $140. Needless to say our traditions have come to an end.

Had Chinese last weekend. 1 chow mien, 1 prawn, 1 prawn chop suey, 1 almond chicken, 1 deep fried wonton = $85
Told the wife that's it for the chinese and just have to make our own. Lots of rain today.

Good day guys. Just came back from 9 days at Fairmont hot springs. Great stay but like you guys are saying, the price of restaurant's out there are crazy. I think I could of gone to Mexico for a week for the same cost.
