Re: Good Morning Thread
Well this is what happens when you don't drive these old cars fr a long time,. I was feeling pretty good Saturday so I decided to take the Duster to our last show of the season. The drive there was uneventful, just a beautiful drive. But on the way back home the Duster started to run really rich and then it started to stall. Gave it a quick check when I finally got home and it looks like the carb, has seen better days. It's a Holley 600 cfm, and these don't rebuild very well. So I guess it's time for a new one.

Lyle, Thanks for the encouragement. As I keep telling my friends, I'm not finished bothering everybody. So I'll give it my best fight.

Good day gents.
Well it looks like this site has died. It's getting smaller instead of growing. I've met some amazing guys on here and I wish everyone the best.

It has gotten really quiet around here - we need to either try to bump up some new members or just shut'er down, I guess

I've met some really nice guys through this site { you included } and it's a shame that we haven't grown at all.

I do come and visit once in a while but I think this site is going away. Not sure who decides on weather to keep it going or not
had a great summer and I've had my Barracuda out to a few shows and with the 360 it's a blast to drive.
This picture is a small town out for Breakfast. My brother drove the Demon out there.

YUP, YOUR RIGHT
Well the show times are over for the season and it is likely my last season.
Age and aches are the main reasons.

i started this Good Morning thread, to try and keep the site alive and have a place that we could check in and you not need a reason other then to say hello. However this seems to be dying as well.
I was speaking with Reg, last night and he told me that he's been very busy, but was going to try and find time to check in once in a while.
Anyway while I'm here , i want everyone to know that I'm doing okay for now. I went to my Doctor yesterday and they say that my cancer has not progressed and I'm ready for my next treatment. They have stopped the Chemo and Radiation and in about two weeks will be starting me on a new treatment called Radium 223. Almost sounds like a sci fi movie from the 50s. Our government has just given the approval for it's use.
We had a nice streak of warm sunny weather for the past week and a half, but that has come to an end and we are now at normal temps.
Hope all is well with everyone here.
Have a great day.

last two days here were beautiful and 12* Going to the island Sat to pick up my TTI headers ( a scolding $2228 with the friggen exchange and duties)
Had a guy on the island by the name of Peter Wille that brought them up for me. You guys should check him out on you-tube, he races a black cuda with a 540 (Peter Wille cuda)
This guy also restores mopars and is 70yrs old. I will finally be assembling my motor this coming spring.

I saw the pictures from that show, someone posted close to 900 pictures on Facebook, and I seen your car in one of those pictures.

Bright and sunny here today. But very cool. According to the weather man we are supposed to be in the mid 20s by Tuesday, with lots of sun. And it supposed to stay that way for 3 or 4 days.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Picked up my headers today and met Peter Wille and looking at somethings online I saw that he is actually a member on this site. Looks like another member had accused him
of some shit while his car was at Peter's shop back in 2015. After what I saw today I find that very hard to believe because Peter does fantastic work and he has parts galore and incredibly organized. Peter also has an amazing mopar collection and I received the full tour and he shared a bunch of knowledge with me. Amazing guy doing was he is doing at age 70.
Nice weather for the ferry crossing today as well.
Cheers
