Yeah, the wind has a real bite to it today. My backyard ice rink is froze over and that shouldn't have happened this early in the season.

Nice Christmas story Lyle. I'm glad the Cuda is put to bed for the winter months.

Not a bad day here, high of 5. I came in contact with 2 guys that tested positive for covid so today I'm heading to the covid testing facility to make sure all is good. I'm told I have to quarantine for 10 days so I have no excuse not to get some work done in the garage.

Was 9 and sunny in Sidney yesterday and we were working in t-shirts and this morning it was not so nice. Bumpy ride home on the ferry but dry around the home stead.

Good morning 7 maybe get to 10 ish. Blew like heck but the other side of the Island not our side yesterday but the rain is coming today so we will see if we get the 2 inches of rain we are forecasted to get. Jeez Keith hope all is good

Dry and calm this morning. Pretty gusty last night. Reg, I was surprised that the ferry I was on was given the green light. It was calm until we got past Main and Galiano islands but the Straight was just howling and the boat gota rocking. They made an announcement for everyone to be seated but I stay in the truck with my dog Bailey so we were comfy.
Will be brining a big brisket for corned beef today so I have it ready for New Years eve dinner of corned beef and cabbage. Wife don't likey so I get it all to myself.

Good afternoon, went from -3 to -1 or so with clouds. We got almost 2-3 cm last night and morning, the green lawns are just about invisible.

Good morning 9 and will top out at 9 today. Holy heck what the heck was with that wind last night if it didn`t blow over a 100k I would be shocked the damn house was creaking and groaning. Too dark to survey any damage yet but I am sure I have all the neighbour’s shit in my yard. Now we have a special weather statement for tomorrow for snow and cold temps, must be winter.

Good morning, cloudy this morning but clearing around noon. Temps started at about -2 are up to 4 and heading to 6+ and tonight should be in the -2-3 region. there is snow on the ground but I suspect its life expectancy is limited.
Cluster project is progressing steadily but surely as planned. I suspect a Christmas break is coming.

Good morning 1 maybe get to 6 today. Well that was quite a day yesterday, started out with the predicted monsoon went to slushy snow back to rain then back to seriously big wet snow and went nuts. 42000 without power at one point the ferries were cancelled highways shut down a firetruck on their side a bus went on its side on the highway further back from the other shutdown and took out the center barricade which will cause problems for days as they get that fixed and now this morning theres an inch of ice coating everything because after the storm moved through it cleared off nicely to see the Bethlehem star. Now 2 days of clear weather so they say

Good morning 2 feels like 2 should get to 2 then tonight -2 with the in coming winds -7. Clear yesterday and today not so much tomorrow. Did anyone have a chance to see the star of Bethlehem it was pretty cool to see I guess if I get to 864 years old I may see it again.

Good evening been very busy the last few days, getting stuff ready for Christmas. Plus the wife is home from work until after New years and she is cracking the whip making sure that I don't slack off. Weather hasn't been too bad here. Cool but sunny.
