Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 9 rained in the night hope it takes off for the day today but we shall see. Lots of work in the yard yesterday dug out sod replaced with concrete slabs and edged with concrete blocks. I really don`t remember those damn things being so heavy. Moms day today lucky to still have mine, although we can`t see each other the 4 boys will all call and make her cry and thats what she loves.

Good mother's day morning, still rainy cool and damp. Looks like today will be mostly damp with showers. All kinds of water in the puddles. Have a good one and treat mothers right.

Been 8 years since both my mother and father passed. But I really miss them both on these type of occasions

Boo again, hope I didn't scare you.
Gee Dan that is not real good but those occasions do bring out things we sometimes would like to forget.
I had my son-in-law have a look at the wiring to do on the Dart, so he and his buddy will tackle it with their young backs and a hoist and should be able to do it no problem.

Good day all. Nice and warm today around 17 and a bit warmer tomorrow.
Rebuilding my heater box today and it wasn't in as good as shape as I thought.
Making repairs to it tomorrow.
Have a great evening all!

The Fish goes in tomorrow for a new fuse box, windshield wiper repairs (motor/switch/whatever), going to remove/disconnect the cigarette lighter and have a USB charger hard-wired and mounted on top of the dash.

Good day, will be in the garage working on my Dad's Journey for the day. Wheel bearings and changing out all the fluids, that'll keep be busy for the day..
Lyle, glad to see your getting things done on the Barracuda and USB port makes so much sense now a days rather than an used cigarette lighter.
Good day all!

I'll post a pic when it's done, Keith - looking at mounting on the dash beside the defrost vent on the driver side - that way I can use shortest possible cables
for phone and GPS

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 11 cloudy and may get some showers or may not. Had the Dart out yesterday for a bit, lots and lots of cars out. 8 of us met up in a parking lot and had a chin wag slagged a few guys told a lie or 2 and left. It was good to see those guys but sadly the middle part of the visit was more about catching up on those who had cancer were just diagnosed with cancer or who were waiting results for the same. Its our age I know but I`d rather complain about kids on my grass and of course the weather.

Good day all, nice today high 26.
I managed to get the hood on the Barracuda and the Demon is not running as I'm doing the rear main seal in it and the Motor is on the stand. I started doing hush mat in it as well so no drive by car shows for me unless I get my but in gear and get the Demon back on the road.
Yea Reg it's amazing how cancer is taking a toll on our lives, weather it be friends or family. Glad to see you got out for a chat though!
Stay safe and healthy guys!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon. The weather has just been so nice here for last little while, that I haven’t been in around a computer very much. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. Haven’t taken my Duster at all but am looking forward to doing so. There was a small car show about 50kms from me but with the provincial shut down, it wasn’t legal so I didn’t go. Turns out nobody was wearing a mask and no social distancing. I’m happy that I avoided it for sure.

Hi people, cases are getting better for us but still kinda shaky for Halifax region. Mostly quiet and trying to follow the suggested protocol. Got a rain shower this morning but the sun was out a while ago. Cleaned the inside of my wife's Jeep yesterday and today I have a sore back...the joys of getting older I guess.
Later people, stay healthy and safe.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day, Nice sunny day here but only a high of 19 but no complaints.
Our dam covid cases are going crazy, we got an emergency message on the Cell phones saying all hospitals are at a critical state when it comes to beds in the ICU. I just don't get it why it's so bad. Our family is all well but now have some friends fighting the covid.
I wish our cases were down JG... And hope the back feels better.
Dan all our car shows are cancelled for now and I believe we have to wait until the middle of June if they let allow the drive through car shows.
Stay safe.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon , very nice day we are sitting around 24 and we actually have humidity for what I believe is the first time this year.
Keith, we were getting pretty bad here but our premier did another stricter lock down and our numbers are dropping slowly. I have a friend who’s niece had the maderna shot and one of her legs swelled up and she landed in the hospital. Apparently she was allergic to the glucose in it. She is going to be alright and she said that it was her fault for not checking the ingredients when she knew she had allergies.
Stay safe all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 5 and it will start to get warmer for the ramp up for the long weekend should be mid 20`s by Friday so they say. Isn`t it the medicals responsibilty to determine allergies before the shot? Like how the hell as a patient are we supposed to know the ingredients? After my 1st shot I had to wait 30 minutes after rather than the normal 15 because of my peanut allergy. They wanted to monitor me in case I started doing the funky chicken on the floor or something wierd like that but I have no idea what was in the shot how could I? Hey I heard it was the Acadians birthday today? Happy Birthday JG !!!!! Dive into some cake lots of cake never mind the back it will still be sore tomorrow.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, bright and sunny today with a high of 25. We are supposed to get up to 30 Saturday and Sunday, with humidity in the 35 range.
Reg, most but not all people know that they have allergies, and because your family Doctor knows the ingredients in the vaccines, anyone with allergies are supposed to check with their Doctor. The persons injecting you are not qualified to know what and how certain ingredients will affect you. I guess it's matter of taking responsibility for your own self.

Good day all, Reg I’m glad to hear you didn’t do the funky chicken all over the floor.
Got the hood finally lined up without scratching the pain on the old Barracuda.
Was going to post a picture but it won’t post up for some reason. I’ll try again tomorrow.
Have a great day.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Dan out here the doctors have absolutely nothing to do with this vaccination program. There is nowhere at all that mentions allergies in the program, the only time it came up was when i was sitting beside the nurse with that telephone pole pretending to be a needle and she asked if I had any allergies. The only good thing about waiting 30 minutes to leave rather than the customary 15 minutes is my sewing machine mechanic came in just after me so we had a good visit.

Good Morning , cloudy but very warm today. We are at 29 with the humidity making it feel like 33. Supposed to be like this all weekend.
Reg, I can see what the issue is where you are. I guess it's just a provincial thing, because here they recommend that you talk to your Doctor before the injection. I personally have a phobia about needles, so I always look away and I also tell the person injecting me not to tell me when " just do it."
