Well since I have been off work since this covid has taken over our lives, I have decided to officially retire . I got used to being home, so I told my boss that I would not be returning. Just hope that I don’t regret my decision.
Time will tell!!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good afternoon. Another hot 🥵 humid day today. Even to warm to take the Duster out.
JG, you’ve been retired forever, how are you filling your days. I mean you can only play with the old cars so long and how many times can you cut the grass? I’ve been wanting to retire for awhile but was afraid I’d run out of stuff to do. I mean that on a hot day like this I’d rather just relax, but for the most part, I need to be busy.

Reg, she is doing OK , but they found a tumor on her liver and several other smaller things. For now they are going to give her medication and change her diet to very lean. Stuff like kangaroo and the likes. Still waiting to hear from the vets as to when this will happen.

I am glad you can treat with medication and food. 2 of our 3 Yorkies had cancer and never smoked or drank liquor kinda makes you go hmm. Hope the treatments work and hopefully she likes the lean diet!

Dan, computer games can take up some of the time then there are card games, going for shorter walks more often, if you like tv that is a help...maybe even tape some shows about cars or other stuff you like, water the plants and lawn can take a few minutes of your time and even taking a snooze break when you feel like it. Then there is always the good ol having sex, but that is sometimes not possible or you could start drinking like a fish. If you are really stuck there is always the cleaning of the house if you are stuck. I even do some crossword puzzles specially in the winter and jigsaw puzzles or even picture puzzles. I have even done some kids picture painting when stuck in winter. If you have money to spend how about going on a trip somewhere and see something you never seen(watch out for covid). When you are really stuck there is always volunteer work...but this is not for me as I worked for almost nothing all my life and because of that i do not want to work for nothing now. I just found out something else...I can also type for too long.

Happy Fathers Day, to all the Dads.
JG, that’s a extensive list. There may be a few things that I would do there.

You never know you might even find something in there you actually don't mind too much. And then there is always your imagination.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Hello people,
Did you have a good or great supper gents? We had another nice day that went up to 36, probably 29-30 at the airport. Went for TWO drives with the Dart Sport with the wife and by the way Dan I found a burnt fuse, all is back to normal for now on the Dart Sp. Wish I had a 4 spd auto. with overdrive though.(dream, dream dream). Sure is nice to see the sun with some mugginess but not too much.

Good afternoon. Still very humid here but been getting rain all day. JG, you’re lucky that it was as simple as a fuse. But the fuse probably blew because you put too much on the circuit at one time. From the factory that fuse would have carried more than one circuit already.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good Thursday morning, we finally got a bit of rain overnight ...haven't seen anything looking like rain in too long. It's a cloudy morning that should clear up in a few hours. The roads is the only thing outside that is dry at the moment. Looks like we are to get a few more humid days and even showers...which we can use. Atlantic bubble coming up including NB, NS, PEI, and Newfoundland + Labrador
Have a great day and stay safe.

Good Morning, our humidity has returned along with the warmer than normal temps. We should reach 30 today with the humid-ex bringing us up to the mid to high 30s. Have a great day.
