Re: Good Morning Thread
Not a bad here today a high of +1 but had a bit of snow overnight. Next week I'll have to get my ass back in the garage and do some cleaning as I pulled the front suspension out of the Cuda and never finished looking at the problem.
Have a good day all.
Have a good day all.

Good afternoon well the next storm is arriving we will only get 2 or 3 inches of rain here on top of the accompanying hurricane but the west coast of the Island is supposed to get 6 inches of rain and the wind so Keith I would get ready for some more white shite lol.

Good afternoon, cloudy, might see the sun so they say
Ground is still white and driveways are clear. Hope everybody made it through the holidays safely and without too much harm. Did Santa bring any new car parts?

Yea we got about 2 inches of snow, not as bad as the mountains received, some parts 5 inches. We got up to a beautiful +1 today.
I've been cleaning up the garage today, lots of old crap to get rid of...
Hope everyone has had a great New Year.

Good morning its 5 theres a bit of a break in weather systems right now. Its funny Cookie about the wind yesterday the ferries were cancelled lots of people affected and here at our house there wasnt a breath of wind however we did not escape the rain. Enjoy the night out at the game, we went to a Marlies game in Toronto and I could not believe the price of food and drinks at the game 2 beers and a bag of popcorn was 41 bucks.

Good morning 5 and shes a coolin down now snows a comin. In a week or so the temps are heading south like I should be damnit! Cookie thats about right for a reasonable night out now eh...yikes. On a positive note it was a great day for hockey and hopefully today is even better actually for my sports that i like this may be the weekend of the year! A friend of mine who has a big health battle ongoing scored rink side behind the visitor net so it was fun to watch him enjoy the game and have a clean birds eye view on the winner. On that note boys get yer prostrate checked yearly please just do it. K thats my speech for the day carry on

HELLO, getting dark already. Reg the prices are much lower down here, if you really splurge you might reach $300.00 but normal is usually under 100-200, unless you get drunk at a fancy restaurant. But then we don't the salaries that TO and Vancouver have.

Re: Good Morning Thread
JG the prices are fairly high here for sure. If we go to a game in Vancouver by the time you add up all the ferry costs food costs hotel costs game costs a stop at Bass Pro we usually burn up about 1200-1500 bucks. I can find lots of things at Lordco or Summit that would last longer and look better on the car for that kind of money. Cookie is lucky to have a bride who likes hockey, I dragged my wife to the juniors for 7 years before I finally called it quits(with the season tickets lol).

If the wifey didn't like hockey I could probably call her a cheap date.

Woke up to standing water on the grass today now thats alot of water. The ground is so saturated the water has nowhere to go and more on the way before we go into a deep freeze and it starts to snow Friday so they say. Keep my head down looking at car parts thats the solution i am sure

We did not get that much actually, it was specially from the center of the province to the northern part. The snow fell lightly all through the day and there was no wind to blow it around which is kind of rare. Last night went down to -9 and up today only to -2. I hope to get rid of at least some of my cold before we leave for Punta Cana on Feb. 22 to 29.
MISTAKE ON MY PART: The eastern tip of PEI got about 40 cm and the NS part southern shore got it too, us in Dieppe got only about 6 cm.

some light snow looks good when it is not over 1 foot, better than dirty brown mud or dirty dead grass.

I'm with Cookie, on this one. Because when the weather warms up then we don't have to wait for the snow to melt, before everything starts turning Green again.
