Good morning, did not freeze outside last night, the low was 2 and now 4 but cloudy, should reach 7 but with clouds and maybe even light rain showers. We might even see our lawns in a few weeks instead of just spots here and there. Even checked out the forecast for April and it looks pretty good.
Have a great working on your cars or whatever.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all, looks like it will be a great weekend here and hopefully will be working on the car this weekend.
I'm going to try to fire up the Cuda next week if I can get a fair bit of work done this weekend. Need to finish up the exhaust and get some kind of fuel pump hooked up for a trial run. Need to check all my work over to make sure I haven't for got anything and all the bolts are tightened down properly.. I'll let you know how it actually turns out!!
TGIF and have a good weekend all

Good morning the sun just came out but there are still some clouds around, the day started at 0 now it is 7 and it might go higher, tomorrow should be nicer. Might loose the rest of the snow on the patio in the next few days. Good luck with your Cuda Keith.
Have a great day all.

Good morning 3 and should get to 18 or so again today. Got the new carb on yesterday just in time for a 9 cent a litre gas price increase. Pulled the themostat yesterday too just can`t get it cool enough for my liking even with a 160 stat. Timed it back down a bit to factory specs and wooo boy this car is hard on tires lol. Big birthday party at the home today everyone will be here which is rare to get that lucky!

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, although morning is already gone by, the sun just came out about 45 sec ago. The low last night was +8 and now it is 15 and going to somewhere under 20. Reg just thought I'd let you know that Coyote Jack who is one of my Mopar buddies put an EFI system last spring and he just can't believe the difference it makes on his blown 340. No more pumping gas pedal to keep it running at idle, no pumping it before starting and his 72 Demon was fast before and is now scary fast. It develops up to 700 HP depending on which pulley he is running.
Reg: Who's birthday is it? Happy birthday to whoever it may concern.
Sounds as if you need a spring relocation , mini-tub and wider tires, maybe even more money (nah!). Are you splattering that black rubber all over that nice yellow paint??
Have a great day all and have a good one.
PS that stat is too low, go to 185-190 and maybe add an electric fan.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning. We got a light dusting last night.
Brad, I was in gods country, I mean Barrie yesterday and it was snowing and slippery then. Enjoy the party Reg. Have a good day all. Reg, if you haven't yet, install an aluminum rad and a 180 Stat, and that should cure the heat problem, no need for an electric fan.

From what the April forecast says does not look like we will see any more white stuff, at least not enough to speak of.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 4 and will hit 20 today by the sounds of it. Great day yesterday, picked the birthday girl up in the Dart she had no idea I was doing that. Did a few burn outs for her which she loved and came home and got the party started. I have an aluminum rad and dual electric fans now and with a 160 stat it was way to hot so we pulled the stat and will try it without and see where we are at then.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Reg, it will run hotter without a stat, coolant doesn’t slow down enough to cool.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day all. Nice day here and had a good weekend with time in the garage. Got the exhaust cut up and welded all the pieces back together and hoping to trial fit it tomorrow,
Reg I would try another stat, Maybe do some testing to see if it is opening at the correct temp and see what temp the fans are cutting is at. Do you have one of those lazer temp guns?
Good day all!!!

Keith I tried putting it in water on the stove and it opens properly the fans are coming in at 120. I changed my temp gauge and sender and got better readings but still way to hot so will run without for awhile and see how this plays out. Yes I put my temp gun on various spots and everything is within a few degrees so thats all good.
Have a great day

Re: Good Morning Thread
God day all, nice sunny day here high around 11, hopefully no more snow for us.
Reg sounds like you done lots of testing, The 340 Demon is running a stock rad and never sees 200 even sitting in traffic, running a very close temp stat as you. I wonder if the water pump is ok. One of my pumps I had the fins were slipping on the shaft, but can't remember what car it was I had this happen to.
Good day all.. and good luck Reg with the car.

Good morning, went down to almost -1 last night and up to almost 1 now. Nothing was falling earlier but now light snow is falling, should turn to rain later though. It will be nice though tomorrow I think.
Have a great day and keep on truckin.

Good day all. Well here I am at the Heart specialist this morning, he’s going to tell me what the next step will be. I’ll be glad to get this done with so I can make my plans for this summer. Have a good day all.
