No I never have been there. After busting knuckles on the Valiant got it certified, the only thing I missed was the licence plate light.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning 11 and I think its clear but I think I see some clouds not smoke kicking around. As we all know tomorrow is Saturday and it would of course make sense that after 2 weeks of not being able to see across the street because of the smoke that it would now decide to rain(showers) for 2 days(weekend) then clear off. Well thats all the good news I have today except for you JG, congrats on NB for your lucky 14-1 win over the very congenial host Victoria team. Apparently NB discovered the secret to using local smokey conditions to their advantage and our team of misfits couldn`t get the bats off their shoulders but appear very adept at pitching the ball directly down the middle of the plate with such velocity every window in the Capital city would be deemed safe and sound.
Have a great day

Re: Good Morning Thread
Well good morning you bunch of lazy buggers, time to wake up, it is sunny and warm out, the day started out at 16 and made it to 26 so far but the thermometer says clouds are coming but I did not see them yet. The high of the day is to be close to 30 at the airport, so probably 33 or so here and then there the darn humidity. At the car show Sunday there were 5 winners and for a change 3 of those were Mopars, 74 'Cuda from PEI, 70 Challenger (Buddy), 71 Dart, another buddy. Nice show but forgot my camera.
Have a great day and try to avoid the smoke.

Good morning 13 and woke up to the sound of rain drops on the tent. First appreciable rain since June I think and normally I don`t like rain but this is just fine.

Sunday evening was the last cruise in for me this season because September 2nd to 12th we will be going to Newfoundland, St Pierre + Miquelon and Magdelene islands. These are all islands off Newfoundland.

Re: Good Morning Thread
thanks, Dan - about all that's left on the todo list is weather-stripping and seals on the doors and side windows and sorting out the wonky driver's door window
Re: Good Morning Thread
I’ve got my last show scheduled for the season. Pumpkinfest in Port Elgin. Should be a good weekend.

Lyle: What hotel are you staying at ? I'm working on a tight schedule that weekend, so I'm leaving home in the Duster, early Saturday morning (5am) Hoping to be there for 9am. Should be about a 3-3 1/2 hour drive. I will be staying overnight, leaving sometime Sunday

Hey Mike, I'm at this point I'm hoping that Sunday will be open for me, but that will only happen if I can finish everything by Saturday.
Do you have the Valiant on the road yet ?

Re: Good Morning Thread
Hi Dan, the car is certified and on the road. Working on small projects on the interior. The previous owner put in a new carpet but didn't finish it up. It has an aftermarket stereo, I'm thinking of pulling it and either putting in a factory radio or delete plate. Got rid of the 17" wheels and put on a set of nice rally rims.
