Re: Good Morning Thread
Today was a scorcher, the type of weather the Atlantic Nationals usually get at least one day of...they start tomorrow and the heat is not over with yet.
I have a problem with my tach and voltage gauge, since I adjusted my brake light switch I have none of these two. I replaced 1 fuse so far with no results. Where should I look now?????
Have a great day everyone.

Back from my staycation, bloody hot, power failures and bugs. JG your tach and voltmeter I assume are aftermarket. Check the wires for fraying were they go through the fire wall. Check the power and ground that you are using for the tach. Check for voltage with a light or meter.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good day, the day started off at 19 and now it is 34, this should not be our high yet, it is not as humid as yesterday but it is still above normal.
Mike, nothing in my in my dash is stock my speedometer is via a GPS and the rest of the gauges are all aftermarket. Some day I might work up the courage to do some more checking. Vacuuming is done...now I get to go outside and relax.
Have a great day everyone.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning, we have known that Today rain was to start around noon so the decision was made to stay home instead of getting caught in the stampede to get off Main street. Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be very nice so a good ending is in sight. I have not won anything in the 12 years I have been going so I expect more of the same. Other than that it is a muggy and rainy day. Once this storm passes the mugginess should go away too. Yesterday we seen 39 and muggy stuff on top of that.
Today I am spending some time in the garage trying to make the Dart shine again as we got caught in light rain a few days ago.
Being at the Nationals with friends is usually a lot of fun and there is lots to see.
Have a great day all.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning but it's past 3:00, it's 32 down from 35 and this morning was 14+. There is a chance of thunder showers this evening.
The Nats were great as usual and of course I won NOTHING. Coyote Jack was with us again and won a set of tires with a max value of $750.00.
I took a few pics so some day you guys might get a chance of seeing them.
Tomorrow I think I should have time to start work on my new dress-up fuel line, I did not want to start this project before the Nationals in case something went bad.
Have a great rest of your day.

Re: Good Morning Thread
Good morning at noon, well this morning I successfully installed my dress-up fuel line on the Dart. The gas filter is finally hidden to sight. I did not want to tackle this job before the Nationals...just in case.
The day started off cloudy at 15 but things are now clearing up and it is 21 going to 24+, not much humidity either.
Good luck with your project Reg.
Everybody have a great day doing whatever.

hot, damp, nothin' going on locally - went for a fresh veggie and baking run in the air-conditioned Journey
Re: Good Morning Thread
Must be how the pic was taken, those scoops are about 8'' wide aren't they? Myself I would have made those holes 5-6 inches wide. The more air you can get under your hood the better, it's not only for the carb but for cooling that monster too.
Good night it's bedtime for me.
